Good service but poor food

We were in the area with out dog and found this restaurant thru bringfido.com. We should have checked Trip Adviser. It is a neat place right on the water and the service was prompt and friendly but the food was just over-seasoned and/or over-sauced.

First off, the owner loves suckers. He calls himself a pro-eater. And claims can eat anywhere for free, and people will pay to watch him eat. All of the menu IS FROM FROZEN! On the menu it says the cook has the right to substitute any fish at his discretion. No proper dish washing, just a kitcheb sink and a... More

Never go to a restaurant with a warning label on the menu that the cook has the right to replace what you order with similar tasting food. I ordered grouper and it came out in a perfect square. Im almost positive it was not actually grouper and tasted more like halibut. My family also ordered red snapper and mahi that... More

I have been on several airboat rides in different states and in Florida, this one was really bad. The lunch was OK, I was not expecting much from a shanty by the sea. The biggest benefit is being able to watch Jacksonvillers come in and out of their boats at a boat dock while eating lunch. We probably should have... More

Very nice atmosphere; being by the water and sometimes seeing the dolphins jumping. They just switched owners; but still looks the same. The food was good but nothing to "die over". Was honestly a bit disappointed by all the hype my friends were giving it. They have a Fan boat that you can rent to go out; but beware we... More

We chose to eat at Crazy Fish because one of the appetizers was conch fritters. If you have ever been to the Florida keys, you may have tried them. They are either great or terrible. These Conch Fritters at the CrazyFish were in the GREAT category. Their menu is a bit different from what is listed pn their website, maybe... More

I like that I can pull my boat up here to grab a bite and a drink, BUT the lame thing is the owner has a massive pontoon boat blocking the vast majority of the boat parking on dock which made it difficult to tie up, if there was any other boaters there I would not have been able to... More

A girlfriend and I bought a Groupon to kayak all day for $69. We thought this was a good option far a lazy day in Jax Beach. We should have read TripAdvisor first. SHAME ON US. We were told to make an appointment, which we did. The day 08/25/2013 was overcast but no rain, thunder, or lightening was occurring. When... More

They were delicious the shrimpnwas fresh and cooked perfectly. We also had the conch fritter appetizer. They were also delicious. The only complaint I had was that the... More
