Don't let the building scare you away!

The food is wonderful and so reasonably priced but you have to let go of the neighborhood and the outside of the building. The structure needs an infusion of tender loving care, including fresh paint and some work on the restrooms, fresh carpet, and fixing leaks. BUT go beyond the structure and... read more

Haven't been to a Parsons in a long time. Dropped off our daughter at Beaches Gymnastics next door and took a chance. Ordered the 40 shrimp for 24 99 and was not disappointed. Food was GREAT. You also get 4 sides and it was all fantastic. Will be back soon!

I remember going to this seafood place as a kid in Jax beach. Sadly, over 30 years later, it's exactly the same. And, not in a good way. When you arrive, up you can see that it used to have nice landscaping, etc. But, now it is a weed-fest with a trash dumpster in view and peeling paint on the... More

Having lived at the Beach for 20 years, i have passed this restaurant numerous times saying "One day I will try this place". Well the "one day" finally came. I am kicking myself now for not trying it sooner. The food is fresh and excellent. The service was very good. The prices for the huge portions are more than reasonable.... More

The food here is good, it's not "great" but for the type of food and the price it then could easily be called great. They have these fried shrimp platters that can feed two people for a very reasonable price. The place has been there forever and its got the right kind of character - I'd recommend this one for... We love this place. Food is delicious. Portions are big. Prices are very adorable. We go here every time we are in Jacksonville, usually more than once per trip!

It is the definition of hole in the wall. They have a nice TV in the back to watch games. The crab dip appetizer is small, but fantastic. The fried sides were the only downfall...rather bland. The Dreamboat is crab meet, shrimp, and mushrooms doused in butter and is outstanding! The sweet tea was done right.

Have to admit we were a little skeptical when we first walked up and saw a bunch of cats outside. Went here for dinner with a bunch of friends and everyone who ordered fried or broiled food loved what they ordered. Lots and lots of fried food! Really large portions and very reasonably priced. Has a full bar but if... More

I found this place online and its definitely worth seeking out. Off the beaten track but easy to find, the seafood (we had broiled scallops, shrimp, oysters) was wonderful! I would go back to this place in a minute! The ambiance is beach simplicity, not a fancy restaurant for a romantic meal, but just plain good food at reasonable prices... More
