Have to admit we were a little skeptical when we first walked up and saw a bunch of cats outside. Went here for dinner with a bunch of friends and everyone who ordered fried or broiled food loved what they ordered. Lots and lots of fried food! Really large portions and very reasonably priced. Has a full bar but if... More

I found this place online and its definitely worth seeking out. Off the beaten track but easy to find, the seafood (we had broiled scallops, shrimp, oysters) was wonderful! I would go back to this place in a minute! The ambiance is beach simplicity, not a fancy restaurant for a romantic meal, but just plain good food at reasonable prices... More

Honestly this place should be way more crowded than it was on a Saturday night. The food is delicious and FRESH! Had gator tails as a appetizer which was good especially with the dipping sauce. Then I had fried catfish with okra and a baked potato. All of it was good and they give you a good sized plate. Definitely... More

On New Years Eve we decided we wanted seafood and searched for a locally owned non-chain restaurant. Parsons was recommended to us by several people. We drove out to Jacksonville Beach and our Garmin was able to get us right to it. It really is kind of tucked away. It reminded us of places we had visited in the northeast.... More

While in town for the TaxSlayer Bowl, we traveled to the Jacksonville Beach area to 1. See the beach 2. Following the University of Tennessee "Pride of the Southland Band" to their hotels. While there, we wanted to find a good local seafood restaurant. Having never been in this area, we were at the mercy of using reviews (both here... More

We went on New Years night and they only had 2 servers working and they were also the cashier and hostess. They were working the busts off but just couldn't keep up. Took an hour to get our food. We got the Mariners platter, half broiled half fried. It was realty good and huge portions. The iced tea was horrible... More

If we lived in the area, we would be here all the time! Dropped by at lunch...prices and portions were great. $11.99 for deviled crab and shrimp combo platter that included 12 shrimp, 2 deviled crabs, hush puppies, and 2 sides (I had slaw and fries). I was happy and left full. Service was great. The next time we are... More

This restaurant isn't much to look at on the outside of the building, but if you judge this book by its cover and keep driving, you will be doing yourself a disservice. Parsons Seafood Restaurant is a Best Seller! The food at Parson's is absolutely fabulous, fresh, and very affordable! If I lived in the area, this place would be... More
