Definitely worth trying

Food, we all need to eat it to stay alive, however why should you only eat boring food... You will not fine that here. If your looking for a warm atmosphere, well prepared dishes and yes a kiss on the cheek, stop in and treat your self to one of Inverness hinden treasures. From a pressed Italian sub to ravioli,... We had lunch this week at Little Italy. It calls itself a deli. But it is more than that. Lunch, as usual, was very good. My wife did not want the combo special panini, so Rosario made the other half of mine into a salad for her. It is like home, except that they bake the bread. On Friday and... More

Excellent food, and great atmosphere for lunch or dinner (weekends). Be sure to make reservations well in advance for dinner, they fill up. Plan to be there a while, it's an event that you'll want to enjoy every minute of.

Going to Inverness, FL means two things for us. Riding the Withlacoochee State Trail and lunch at Little Italy. Riding the trail was the reason to be in Inverness, until we found Little Italy. Never a question where we will have lunch anymore. So many mouth watering meats and cheeses in the display cases. And the Pastries!!! Donna Antipasto has... More

This was our first trip to Inverness. I checked TA as usual to see where we could eat lunch, judging by others who have been to the restaurants before me.. We chose to go to the Little Italy Deli, as we are always in the mood for Italian food. What a pleasant surprise as we opened the door Delicious looking... More

Today's girl's afternoon out was was a success since we chose to stop at Little Italy for the first time. Why hadn't any of us been here before?! We received service with a smile and felt welcome indeed. Although I called ahead, we did not need a reservation for a Saturday afternoon. Since the chalkboard menu uses mostly Italian labels... It's such a delight to run across a local eatery with GREAT food and wonderful staff! The food will make you think you're in Italy...it's out of this world! The lunch specials are scrumptious, and the dinners are an experience you simply should not miss!!

There were 18 of us who made the 35 min trip from The Villages to Inverness where we were in for the treat of our lives. Not only was the owner pure entertainment (very witty) but he and his staff presented us with some of the most delectable food we have eaten since moving to The Villages. The dinner concept... More
