Love the location, decor and cuisine. Ice cold draft beer, great food. We will definitely visit again.

This iconic eatery is always exactly what you expect it to be: a Florida place. Complete with 'Gator bites and steaks, frog legs and its well known AUCE catfish, Stumpknockers never lets you down. Its non-gator steaks are also pretty good! It has an extensive menu with reasonable prices smack dab in the middle of the small town ambiance of... More

The last five or six times that we have visited this local restaurant, we have been pleased with the quality, service and value. The seafood is always fresh; the quantity more than ample; and never a delay in serving the meal or getting your check. A treasure!

We went to Inverness for their Pine Street party, which itself was so fun!!! An older couple on the sidewalk told us that Stumpknocker was great and their special for the night was salmon with spinach/artichoke mashed potatoes...so I was in! We had a delightful server...Donnah. We had a pound of peel and eat shrimp and gator bites for appetizers.... More

"Old Florida" food and atmosphere. You should definitely try the daily specials...they're different and delicious. My favorite? Why, Miss Linda's Shrimp & Grits, of course!!

Having lived in the area for 10 years and always wanting to go to Stumpknockers I finally had the opportunity for a friends birthday celebration. We had reservations for 12 and upon arrival the table was ready for us. The waitress immeadiately took our cocktail order and explained the specials of the day of which there were five. After placing... More

We're locals who have eaten here many times over the years because it WAS the best cat fish & other seafood around. Well it ain't good anymore ... we were served crab cake that was cold on the inside (obviously frozen rather than fresh) and the catfish was tough & tasteless. Regrettably The replacement order of catfish was no better.... More

Stopped here for a cocktail before dinner. The bartender was even making old fashioned brandy alexanders complete with nutmeg! Had my old fashion down to a science, perfect. Nice conversation with friendly local senior couples.

This was by far one of the worst dining experiences of my life. Waitress (Missy) was curt and impolite from the moment we sat down. In the middle of taking our food order, she left saying she was paged that someone else's food was ready. When she came back to take our order (10 minutes later) my nephew ordered crab... More

We have been to this place several times over the past couple of years and only had a couple of misses. However, I just cannot get used to sweet, warm cole slaw swimming in dressing. Sorry just my preference, but for safety sake I know slaw is supposed to be kept cold. The catfish I had was nice and tasty. Crispy,... More
