The cuban sandwich was great and filling. We also tried the empanadas which were really good. Very friendly family place. This was a wonderful find on the beach and will definitely be back. I Highly recommend.

This little treasure is located across the street from the beach. The staff was great from the moment we walked in the door.

Because of the Trip Advisor reviews , we knew the ice cream place also had sandwiches. We tried them out & they were really good, I had the ultimate which is roast beef, ham & turkey. I chose Cuban bread ( toasted). The sandwich was very good & quite large. It came with some funky chips that I am still... More

My family and I just left Indian Shores Florida this was our first stop since we were not use to the extreme heat. So ice cream to cool us all off. It was the right choice. My husband had a Cuban sandwich which was so filling and tasty. The four children had ice cream all of which they enjoyed. This... More

Ice cream had a taste like something that was left in freezer for several months. I ordered chocolate and it had a HUGE peanut butter after taste and nuts so not sure if they are mixing things, but with all those peanut allergies out there that was dangerous.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your unfortunate experience. As new owners of Bay1 we make it a high priority to buy and serve fresh quality products.  We just remodeled, so none of our ice cream is several months old.  We certainly do not mix ice creams unless upon a customers request.  My only explanation is... Stopped in for Ice cream and Grandson had lunch. Salted Carmel Praline ice cream ranks right on top of any ice cream I have ever eaten! Small establishment with very clean eating area and bathrooms. Grandson ate several Cuban Sandwiches on this trip and he said the one he had here did not disappoint. Was very impressed with the server.... More

Can't wait to see it the after it's remodeled- heard the Cuban sandwiches are awesome! The owners are adding new items to the menu- deviled crabs, empanadas, rice and black beans . A little Latin flavor! Sounds delicious!

Ice Cream was delicious! Can't wait to visit again after the remodel! The sandwiches sounded very good, but we had just eaten dinner, we'll have to try them next time!
