Waterfront dining

Been to the Pub every year while on vacation. Popular waterfront spot which can get crowded but that's a good sign for a restaurant, right? Had the pecan crusted tilapia this time and it was excellent, as was our waitress, Val.

Noisy, crowded and not a good experience at all. Our first experience was terrible. Waiter stated " I'm working a double today" and boy did we pay for this. Slow service, needed to be asked numerous times (when we could see/find him) for things that never came. When we questioned him why service was so slow, he said that most... More

The parking for this restaurant is limited and it was a very busy time of day but we were able to be seated right away at the bar. Bar staff was very attentive and knowledgeable of menu, etc. A great meal, enjoyed it and would recommend and would make a return visit when in the area.

Spent spring beak 2015 in Indian Shores. We stayed right across the street at Sandcastle II, thought we would try The Pub since it was was so convenient. Wow, so glad we did. We ended up and ate there 3 times in the week we stayed. We tried other places like PJ's Oyster Bar, Crabby Bills, NOTHING could compare to... More

Visited this place on a Saturday night. Parking lot was full and it took a bit to find a spot. The service was pretty good but the salads were lacking. They were pre prepared and hardly any lettuce and a little wilted. I ordered the grouper with mashed potatoes while it was very flavorful the portions were very small for... More

We were visiting Clearwater Beach and decided to ride the Trolly to The Pub. I could see where parking might be a problem for drivers but a parking attendant was in the lot to offer assistance. We were seated at 6:05 PM and still offered the early bird specials. We ate the onion crusted salmon and the tomato basil Mahi... More

Parking lot could not accompany clientele. Server was aloof, like he was doing us a favor! Did not refill my iced tea, when my husband's beer was empty did not ask if he would like something else to drink...we had to ask for water. Salad was nothing but bagged lettuce with one cherry tomato and bland dressing. Salmon was good... More

This is a very large restaurant with many seating options inside and outside on various levels. We sat outside and enjoyed the views of the water and boats. There are docks for patrons to pull up their boats. The food as good, but not great. I had Apalacacola Oysters. They were very good. I also ordered the filet and lobster... More

Reservations not accepted and we had 16 people in our party ( 8 kids ). We had called ahead and were told it wouldn't be a long wait to be seated inside. Waited for 75 minutes to be seated outside. Hostess seemed flustered and was abrupt. Our server was the only redeeming feature of this visit. He was efficient, knowledgeable... More

The reason I go to The Pub for an occasional lunch on a nice day is because there is ample outside seating looking out over the intracoastal waterway. There are plenty of parking spaces available and also dock space for several boats to pull in for a drink and bite to eat, so it’s fun to watch the boats come... More
