You will have to go a long way to get a better steak than this. All meat is cooked on an open grill in the middle of the restaurant. Very high standard, it is advisable to pre-book.

Highly recommend crab portabella mushroom, surf and turf, and mojito. Our and server was excellent! Well worth the money. Expect noisy atmosphere on busy nights.

Whenever we visits the Indian Rocks Beach area on vacation, this is our special night we dine out for. We have dined here four times and it hasn't disappointed once. The location, the view of the intercoastal waterway, and the service are impeccable. The food was excellent. I had a t-bone steak, medium and it was tender and mouth-watering. i... More

We had been to a sister restaurant, The Island Way Grill and had a fabulous experience. So we thought we would try the Salt Rock since it was so close to where we were staying. The minute we walked in the door, we were greeted by 5 hostesses, standing around the podium and were first asked if we had a... More

We went here to celebrate a graduation and I could not be more disappointed (I mostly feel bad for my boyfriend because he wanted to do something nice for me for graduating and he feel like he let me down). The service was probably the worst part. We had two different servers and I don't know which one was worse.... More

An excellent chose for a great meal around Clearwater area. The seafood was incredible and the staff was friendly. We didn't have reservations but there happened to be an open table overlooking the intercostals waterway. It was the day before July 4th festivities and was busy. Make a reservation because it’s usually busy and parking is really difficult.

I have been going to Salt Rock for over a decade and it continues to be fantastic. Steak, Lobster, Crab Legs, haven't had a bad thing yet, but i am a bit of a creature of habit and have the same dozen things most of the time. BTW if some crazy looking guy with wild pants sits at your table... More

My Family and I had terrible food and service. Waiter was rude as well as hostess. Had reservations and still waited because we requested a water view. Hostess was very rude when our beeper went off and I asked for the water view table. She was very hesitant to give up a table. As I was going to ask for... More

We have been going to Indian Shores for several years and finally got into the Salt Rock. The food was great. Had the surf and turf and the steak was very well cooked along with the lobster tail. The most impressive thing was they had a surf and turf on the kids menu and my kids loved that!
