The nicest restaurant I found during my stay in Indian Shores, Florida was the Salt Rock Grill. The staff was incredible, the food was good and the view of the inter-coastal waterway was fabulous. From calamari to a perfectly cooked filet, the menu was top notch. We ended our evening with a rum soaked bread pudding that was recommended by... More

We ate here while staying in nearby Treasure Island. We liked everything about it, food and service were very good. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the water, very nice atmosphere. Menu offers a nice variety and of course seafood is the specialty. It's a bit higher end so may be expensive dinner for some families. We'll eat here again... More

Wonderful spot for dinner with a great view of the inter coastal waterway. We had a table by the window but every time anyone walked down their stairs the floor vibrated. Dinner for 3 of us was delicious but my husbands pork chops was a bit over cooked. Josh did a great job making sure everything was perfect at our... More

This place was the first place we ate at on our first ever trip to Clearwater. Place had a great atmosphere and views. When you walk in you can see the cooks preparing and cooking the food which was a nice touch, and the bar was cozy as well. Food was great and the place filled up quickly. Would repeat... More

We have been going here for years. It was very darkind inside at the back this time. Could not see our food. Asked Garrick the manager to put up the lighting and he declined. Will think twice about going back.

Pitch black! The manager refused to turn up the light after several request. The waitress Britney was awesome. The manager Garric, was a douche bag!

It was our first time eating at the Salt Rock Café. We were anticipating a great meal; however, we left very disappointed and will not be back nor can we recommend this restaurant. I always strive for a balanced review so the positives of this restaurant are: great location by the sea, good service and a nice atmosphere. The sour dough... More

We have been to Salt Rock three times: twice during regular dining hrs and once for the early dining. All three dining experiences were disappointing but last night, the early dining experience, was by far the worst(and ended up being "on the manager"). Despite their website (or is it the tripadvisor website) advertising that they accommodate large groups, they can't... More

Good morning I was very disappointed with our dinner last night. We invited our friends hoping to impress them with a nice dinner at a fine restaurant and a good time. It started with a flat bottle of sparkling water, we asked the waiter to replace with another one and he seemed annoyed about our request, it followed by blue... More

We live here in FL and have been there a few times. What we found is when dining inside the noise is too excessive to carry on a normal conversation. Much better to eat outside. We didn't think the food was great it was ok. We also thought the portions could have been a little more for the price. Our... More
