Not the type of candy kitchen my family is use to, we're from Gatlinburg Tennessee and the candy kitchen we have here is AMAZING, all of the candies and sweets are made at the shop and you can even watch them pull taffy. As to where this candy kitchen, is retro and offers different things so we... read more

The ice cream was really bland. We had vanilla, butter pecan, cherry vanilla, pralines and cream and not one of them tasted like the flavor it was suppose to be.

Sugar fix destination. They had old time candy that I have not seen since my childhood but we went (multiple times) for their vanilla peanut butter ice cream. Delicious.

The shop was very small and quaint had all of the candy from my past of 60+ years. This is a stop YOU need to make!

Old and dirty!! We walked in with a line almost out the door and thought "oh this must be a really good place". After standing around and looking at the candy that had some expiration dates too close for comfort we left ultimately because the place smelled so bad, we didn't want to chance getting sick from the ice cream.... A must stop. Tons of great candy and, with so many vintage choices, it's like a trip back in time. There are two locations that I know of - and both are great.

This place was great for the kids, any kind of ice cream or candy you could think of. We went there a couple of times and always good.

Not the highest quality ice cream, but worth at least a visit with the kids if you are staying in the area. They have a neat collection of Candy too. 4 rating caveat being that it is area specific...

There were several of these in the area but we actually stopped at the one in IRB. Lots of old time candy and toys which was cool. The salt water taffy is super soft! I had the frozen banana and it was good, but I think the banana was mashed or something before it was frozen because when it melted... More
