We always come here when the grandkids visit. However, we enjoy it as much as they do. It's always a treat for them and us. Their rum raisin ice cream is to die for.

A fun place to stop in, has retro candy from the 60's - present, pretty good ice cream, open late. Can sign your name on the walls or most of the appliances inside the business. Fun to visit at least once just for the experience.

loved the choices of ice cream - everyone could find something they liked. We actually visited two different Candy Kitchens while staying in florida. My husband liked looking at all the different kinds of "old fashion" candy that they had. the chocolate brownie ice cream was the best, however one grandson like smurf ice cream

Don't know if it's homemade but It was very good. Interesting place to visit and kept clean even though it's kind of old. Would go there again.

Started going there in 2006 on a regular basis for what we thought was homemade ice cream. Boy were we fooled. Over the years the quality went down hill and the prices went up. Better off going to the grocery store to get ice cream

I grew up going to my grandmother's beach place at Indian Shores and started going to the original Candy Kitchen near John's Pass. I was THRILLED when they put one in at Indian Rocks which was so much closer to our condo. I go at least one time every time I've over there - the ice cream is delicious, the... More
