JD's was a bit of a redneck place but fun. The night we were there country music, dancing and drinking we in abundance. The clam chowder was excellent but the oysters were just OK. The salad was very good although came with a little too much dressing already on the salad. Next time I will ask for less dressing. Other... more

JD's New Policy of charging $3.00 per glass of tap water stinks..no matter what you spend if you want to drink responsibly the Boss will charge you $3.00 per glass of tap water. She would rather you leave drunk..than sober..maybe she should drink some of her tap water and make sober decisions more

One of our favorites, whether it's a drink and oysters at the Tiki Bar out back, with live music, (after a visit to the beach), or a big great tasing breakfast at the best price in town, or late night snacks and the piano music inside.. more

my wife and I enjoy going for appies. she does the jumbo shrimp and I hit 24 oysters natural. along with some of the great main dishes for the price this place is hard to beat. it has to be good we drove all the way there last year from british columbia, Canada. We live on vancouver island. more

We visit JD's everytime we come to the coast! The kids ask for the "Octopus Restaurant" and we know EXACTLY what they're talking about. The food is always excellent (try the all you can eat grouper special for only $10.00!!) and the service always comes with a smile and a pat on one of the kids' heads. This is a... more

This page has the meals listed at $20.00, but I feel there average price was around $14 or 15.00. Great entertainment inside and out. Found out that it was family owned and feel like we were treated like family. more

I have read a lot of reviews about JDs. I live in Largo, Florida, and find JDs a great place to go to enjoy food and drink. The folks there are warm and friendly. If those who visit from outside Florida dont like JDs, STAY HOME! more

I have gone to JD's regualrly for a few years now, my parents have gone for longer than that and I have never been rushed there. The music is excellent, both indoors at the piano bar and out back on the patio, the waitresses are friendly and helpful, and the drinks are usually strong! LOL!! more
