I was a little disappointed there were few fish selections among the chef's specials, so I had a shrimp/lobster confection which turned out to be poorly named because the shrimp/lobster was actually poured on top of fish--exactly the sort of dish I was looking for. The dish was outstanding and very reasonably priced. The asparagus on the side and the... more

We were incredibly disappointed with nearly every facet of this experience, from the food to the personnel. It felt like a long-forgotten restaurant, despite its great address. My only guess is that this is a touristy area, so bringing people in the door (and not inciting a return visit) is perhaps most important. We're sorry we spent $20+ per entree;... more

We were staying in Belleair Beach first week of June 2009 and had to try Guppy's per the reviews here. We had driven by on previous days and it looked busy (& I had looked up their on the table reservations before going and saw how booked they were) so we called for reservations 7pm outside. We were immediately seated... more

We ate here on our last night in florida, the food was amazing! My husband fell in love with thier seared tuna. Their blackened grouper is one of the best around. The service was just as good. If it's a nice evening, i recommend eating outside! more

We're locals, transplanted many years ago from New England. Like most New Englanders, we were "seafood snobs" and thought we'd never find a place that would please us. We were thrilled to find Guppy's and be proven wrong. It's one of our go-to places for not only delicious seafood meals but for the many other fine menu choices as well.... more

We vacationed in Indian Rocks and this place was so good, we ate here twice! The service was excellent and the food was great. We only had to wait one of the evenings for seating and we enjoyed a Bloody Mary while we waited (these are almost an appetizer themselves with a cheese stuffed olive and shrimp). My husband and... more

The food and atmosphere are great and the wine list excellent. The children's menu offers more than the usual grilled cheese, hamburger choices. It is the first place we go when we arrive and our last stop before leaving. When I say it's time for dinner, the grandchildren ask to go to Guppy's. They are very busy so we try... more

We were taking a nice long convertible ride up the coast from Maderia going to Sand Key - we passed alot of places due to traffice, but once we saw Guppy's the stomach won and we went in. It was a Sunday around 1:30 and we got seated right away outside. The food was wonderful; DH had the tuna melt... more
