Good Food and Cool Atmosphere

The bar service is great and the food is excellent--get the fish and chips--they do it right! Place is just across from the beach and is a nice place to pop into for a quiet beer and bite.

The food is actually not bad but the place just looks run down and dirty; There are just too many nice places on Gulf Blvd to bother with this place

The food is plenty. The wings come in a variety of options. My British friends said these were the best fish and chips they have had in Florida. The service was friendly.

Always have fun at this place.. its a old school bar. Nothing fancy about it. The staff is fun and personable. I wish they would bring back the "HURRICANE" shot! It was awesome.. ask for one next time you there! You might be surprised with one..

We needed a place for a quick bite we could walk to. It doesn't look like much but the food was good (even a hot dog for the grandson). You can sit outside (it had just rained so we stayed indoors). We'd go there again.

Is this place a "dump"? You bet, in the best possible way. First, it's clean. Second, the food and service are top-notch. We felt comfortable on our first visit and Danny the bartender was friendly (not obtrusive) and efficient. We ordered an appetizer sampler platter that was huge and the fries were hot and crisp. There are no pretensions or... More

I have read several negative reviews about the Red Lion previously, and can see the points some people make. The interior is drab and dated, but it has been for the 15 years I have been coming here on vacation. The restrooms are basic to say the least, but have all the facilities you need. On this vacation we went... More

They have a decent selection of pub food which is pretty tasty we would highly recommend the golden fries. The bartender mixes his drinks very generously you definitely get what you pay for.

My wife and I had just come from John's Pass and know the area pretty well, We have eaten here before so noticed it was open and came in. Was busy but the some of the other staff jumped in and got the order rolling. They have really good food her for a die type place. Wings and clams were... More

We were staying in Indian Shores and were driving looking for a place to have a late breakfast and we're glad we chose the Red Lion. It looks a little run down but we've found these places almost always have very good food and service and that certainly was the case here. They have a number of nice choices on... More
