We had lunch here on a very hot July day! We started by sitting out on the deck and our girls were too hot to continue to sit out there. Our server moved under the cover without any problem and was able to continue to serve us there. We started out with Nachos, very good, huge portion! My husband had... More

A pleasant surprise! My husband and I both got the fried shrimp platter and can’t believe how good it is. When it comes to seafood I am very picky. The shrimp was large and the breading just right. I would go back and order it again next time we are in FL.

We have been meaning to go to Sam's Beach Bar for a while. It was a nice open seating restaurant right on the water at Hudson Beach. Limited free parking but for $2.00 you can park and walk a little ways. We sat outside but you definitely want to have a table with an umbrella because the sun is brutal.... More

My husband and I visited Sam's Beach Bar a few nights ago in Hudson Beach, Florida. The place sets right on the Gulf. There was a live bad there that played a lot of rock music. They were OK but my husband and I prefer Reggae or Beach like music like Jimmy Buffet, etc. We will go back when one... More

We went to watch the sunset at Hudson Beach and saw Sam's on the water. We ordered a beer and a frozen coctail. I enjoyed my order of hush puppies, although my boyfriend thought they were not the best he's had. The atmosphere was nice! The service was good too. The band was good and the surrounding areas of the... More

We went here on a whim after taking a trip to Hudson Beach and being disappointed with the area. We were hungry and fairly unhappy. We sat right down and had a drink - lemonade made to order. YUM. He got a fried calamari platter and I got the stuffed mushrooms. Both were excellent - above average. The calamari platter... More

We had a drink and an order of the Pups, (hush puppies). The Pups were good, but not great. Service was good and they had a live music all afternoon and into the evening which was entertaining. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there, but I wouldn't avoid it either. In all fairness we should have ordered... More

First time coming here and we loved it. Great waterfront view, live music... Needs more parking though, crazy! We ordered the calamari- perfectly fried, nice and light and airy. We also ordered the Cajun shrimp po boy and the pork sliders. Loved the sliders and the mango slaw! We will be coming back!

I have been to Sam's a few times. When I am in the mood for a sunset (with my wife). the hostess has always managed to have a bad attitude. Wait staff does work hard to serve you but the quality of food is fair at best. If you plan on a no smoking dinner...forget it. The sunsets are GREAT!... More

Apon arriving we told the hostess we had a party of 14 and was sat at one small bench table and was told when a table next to us cleared we could move it over. About 30 mins go by and we moved the table over no problems. Then issues began. Our server was EXTREMELY rude. Over 30 mins to... More
