Old Hamburg Schnitzelhaus is a nice "change of pace" place to eat. The food is authentically good and service is very good. Our experiences there have never been disappointing and we'd go there again.

We had a party of 6, so we made a reservation in advance. We arrived on time and were seated right away. The place was empty, maybe two other tables were taken. It took the waitress/bartender 30 minutes to greet us and take our drink orders. Then an additional 15 minutes to bring us our drinks. She went around the... More

the food was a wonderful balance of spices and flavors that melted in your mouth. Wow. The service was very pleasant. The dessert was awesome. The only down side was the price, very expensive. I still recommend a visit.

I guess I was expecting more. I was not overly impressed with my meal. It was good but nothing different from me making my own Pork Schitzel and fried potates. The salad dressing was very flavorful but the dinner salad was very small. And my father purchased his salad ala carted for $5.50.. the salad plate was so tiny,The dessert... More

My husband and i had reservations and were shown to a nice little table in the corner. the atmosphere was quaint and felt like you were dining at home! Our server a young girl, came quickly after we were sat to get our drinks and greeted us warmly. She helped us navigate the drink options and helped us pick a... More

This was one of our best dining experiences of our vacation. The restaurant is owned by a German couple, and they make all the food, including the desserts. The restaurant is only open for dinner on Tuesday through Saturday, and I recommend making reservations. We sat at the bar (since we didn't have reservations) and enjoyed the conversation with fellow... More

Seven of us visited this restaurant Saturday night. We ordered various schnitzels and sausage dinners. Everyone found the food delicious. The portions are ample and nicely presented. Service was efficient and the owner came by twice to make sure we were happy. The Black Forest cake which ended our meal was the best any if us had ever experienced in... More

My husband and i enjoyed our meal. It was a Tuesday evening and the place was packed, so they must be doing something right. Our salad had a delicious German dressing. We had a delicious Wiener schnitzel , one veal and one chicken with spaetzle and red cabbage. It was excellent. The owner kept on checking on us to make... More

Staff couldn't get us out quickly enough that the bill came before we could even order a second drink. The pork was tasty but this isn't the food I remember from my many visits to Germany

This was great food and I thought the price was good. Small, quaint restaurant and I loved that the owners were out and about and talking to customers. I thought our waitress was always in a hurry and was not the most pleasant. At times I would try to ask for something and she thought she knew what I was... More
