Excellent food and service..but you pay dearly for it!,

Four of us had a delightful celebration dinner at the Beach Bistro in March, 2015. Everything was superb. My only caution is that this place has BIG CITY top notch restaurant prices. If you are from small town USA, be prepared to pay over $100 per person for a full dinner. It's probably worth it... read more

The setting is great so my advice is to book for just after sunset, arrive about half an hour early and have a drink watching the sun go down. If you are really lucky you will get a table on the gorgeous Joey's station. Not only is he a young George Clooney lookalike but also a local hero as he... More

The location, the service, the food all 5 stars. For the last five years we have been visiting this exquisite restaurant during our month-long stay at Ana Maria Island. This is a hands-on restaurant with personal attention from the owner and long tenured staff. They get it right every time . Don't leave Anna Maria Island without visiting this restaurant... More

I certainly can't complain about the food-it was delicious .BUT,that's not all a restaurant is about.. During dinner, a waiter accidently spilled my glass of red wine over my white slacks and top. They Told me to call. Then they asked to send the damaged clothes, all of which I did.-never heard from them. Would never return, nor would the party I was... More

We dined here a couple times as a family. The food is easily some of the best you'll have up and down the west coast. Sunset, unique upstairs location gives it a nice vibe. But, the service is just way too slow and casual. Both nights our servers just seemed a little overwhelmed and it wasn't that busy. I'm giving... More

Intimate and friendly. Casual and elegant Cool little bar area and tight seating but worth it. A great wine list but reasonable we had appetizers and then dinners the owner visited and service was great 6 dinners which I can't spell were worth it!

From your first moment of welcome, an evening at the Beach Bistro flows smoothly into a relaxed and superb mix of culinary and social delight. Sully at at the bar and Sean at the helm, complimented by a seamlessly efficient and knowledgable staff, make certain that you will eat, drink and linger with a smile, already planning your return.

A culinary surprise at Holmes Beach. The waitstaff was very well trained and conscientious. The wine list uptown sophisticated. The dishes were innovative and delicious(don't miss the grouper cheeks and lobstercargot). Downside was the off the charts expensive entrees(think uptown Manhattan) and the cramped, cluttered and noisy dining room. Otherwise well worthwhile.

Bistro is a small intimate restaurant right on the beach. When you enter there is a less formal back room, then down a short narrow hallway to a small more formal front room that overlooks the beach. Four tables set up outside, weather permitting but outside seating is a smaller menu. Service was perfect. Celebrating a bday and they brought... More

Our first visit will not be our last. From the time we walked into the restaurant we were treated like royalty. We were a tad early so we had a cocktail by the firepit on the beach while letting the sand caress our toes. Our waiter Tyler was the best, so professional & friendly. The food from the individual bread... More
