Pancakes are the best on the beach

Morning pancakes are the best in the morning with sand in your toes and salty beach air in your hair. A great gathering spot that offers local music throughout the day. A great gathering spot.

We stopped in for brunch at the beach on a Wednesday and it was quite wait in line (30 minutes). I guess you would expect as much at the height of the season. I got the "all you can eat" pancakes with sausage and a side of blue berries. The menu said 0.49 more for blueberries but I must have... More

How many places in the United States still offer breakfast on the beach like this one? Not many and none that come to mind. So buy a newspaper, stake out a table and head to the order window, order a plate of eggs, toast, bacon and grits and fill a mug with coffee. A few minutes later a server will... More

We stayed within walking distance and visited several times. We had breakfast that was terrific... The pancakes were yummy and all you can eat. Twice we had the spinach mushroom omelet, it was filled with FRESH SPINACH ANS FRESH MUSHROOM. The fruit was also fresh cut bowl not canned or frozen. They had live music each day to have a... More

Great drinks, food, good portion sizes at reasonable prices. Can't go wrong here. Yes it gets jammed at lunch but bring your cash and you'll get served quicker. There are two food lines - cash and credit - and the cash line is always shorter and quicker. Take your food and non alcoholic drinks back to the beach with you... More

In previous trips to Anna Maria Island, we had never eaten here. I actually didn't expect much from a public beach cafe except hot dogs and fries. One afternoon we stopped in, just checking things out. The food that was being brought to the tables looked wonderful, so we decided to have lunch. There were 4 of us, and each... More

While this is a bit of a tourist trap place, it had a great breakfast. All you can eat pancakes and the French toast was great. It can get crowed and your best to stay away around 11 a.m. when they are changing from the breakfast to the lunch menu. Wanted to try their fish and chips as I had... More

I'm a local and have been weary of this place because of how "touristy" it can get. We arrived right at 11am and thought we had a good plan. We didn't. It was right between breakfast and lunch and they were in transition. I waited I line almost 20 minutes just to put in my lunch order. When they say... More
