Pancake time

A pleasant place to start or end the day. We tend to prefer the morning and the pancakes with sausage - All you can eat $4.99. The great thing is enjoying the food and coffee and watching the action from the sky (the birds), the beach (the sun worshippers and walkers), and just letting down. There... read more

Love this place. We walked to it from the Tortuga Inn. The wait for breakfast was long but well worth it. The view is priceless, nothing like eating with your toes in the sand. Waiter was very good too and so was the food.

Good place to enjoy the sunset with some live music. The food however is fat and greasy. Even the hamburgers (not freshly grinded, frozen patties) are soaked in grease. Fish is mostly fried with fried fries. What a gem. Pricewise overpriced for what you get. Go there enjoy a drink and that's it. There are better places on AMI to... More

We sometimes come here for the Wednesday 5 p.m. Sea Notes music, a Dixieland band group, who play on the restaurant patio adjacent to the beach. It's a beautiful setting. However, you must get in line to order food and drinks. The food is later delivered to your table. You bring the drinks yourself after ordering and paying. The lines can... More

This was a family tradition for my mother, her favorite place to just be informal, eat a hamburger and French fries while watching the Gulf waves and catching the salt breeze. So it is a tradition for our family when we get to come down to Anna Maria. People come up in swimsuits and jogging apparel, right from the sand... More

I can only share what it was like to visit during spring break/Easter week, which was crowded everywhere on the island. This place is very popular with the retired crowd. Orders are placed walk-up windows at the back of the restaurant. You tell them which direction you're sitting (left/right), and they deliver your food. The menus is heavy on fried... More

I asked before I ordered if the scallops were sea scallops or bay scallops and she assured me that they were sea scallops. They were quite large when I got my dinner but when I cut them in half to eat them...they were tiny little bay scallops with huge batter all around them!!! I was extremely disappointed to say the...
