Classic '50s' diner! All shiny metal outside, looks like brand new. The inside has looks great in red/ black seat theme. Very clean. We stopped here around Christmas time in 2013. The 1st thing my wife noticed was the "special's board" listing a bowl of Lobster Bisque at $5.95 (really!). She decided immediately to give it a try & boy,... More

Desserts are store-bought and there wasn't any music playing. The food was good, however. I had the chicken parm, a huge juicy piece with cheese and sauce. My guest had a breakfast platter that was typical, but good. Prices and service were good, but with the other options in town I would go somewhere else. Didnt feel right in there,... More

While driving back to Lauderdale from Miami at midnight we stopped here to eat. There are limited choices at that time of the night and we chose Jack's based off the wide variety of food and the positive reviews. The server was friendly and attentive. I had biscuits and gravy (it's not on the menu, so ask for it), my... More

I've only had breakfast there so that's why I say breakfast is best. The servers are friendly and most accommodating. The place is spic and span, someone is always cleaning and tidying up. The portions are more than generous and its good. I'll have to try lunch there sometime.

If you want to enjoy good food at a reasonable rate, Jack's is your place. The patty melt is especially good.

What a world class diner. Quaint little place that really puts out a hefty breakfast. Everything is clean and the service is quick and with a smile.

Stopped by at five-esh pm, for dinner on a week-night. A few customers were there, not at all crowded, very pleasant "diner look" from the 1940's, very clean and tidy. Menu specials were interesting, we chose meat loaf, I had the dinner for $12 and my wife, ala carte for $9. Service was good and fairly quick (10 minutes) and... More

I hate to pay for food that I make, because mine are usually better, but, there's something in Jack's pancakes that really kick it up.. Kinda tasted like a funnel cake, a little.. but, they were worth the trip. We both had a mixed scramble meal, and they were both pretty good.. the pancakes were the star of the show,... More
