Ordered the Vaca Fritta and Ropa with rice, beans, and plantains on the side. On a scale from 0 to 10, about a 15. And that's coming from a couple that eats Cuban food as much as humanly possible. Come here, best Cuban food in the South!

Black beans and rice were good (I've had better), but the ropa vieja was outstanding, as well as the platanos maduros. Both cooked perfectly.

I went here for a wedding reception/lunch. We had a party of about 20 with ONE server. He seemed annoyed and wasn't very pleasant. The food was delicious. The garlic dip with the fried plantains was amazing.

This is my first visit to this restaurant founded on tripadvisor. I had Whole Fried Snapper, with chicken noodle soup salad and tamale. The tamale had very little meat, but amazing flavor. All the food, was amazing. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK !!!

This is one of those little restaurants that you find by surprise. It's not a popular location spot in miami/hollywood, and it's definitely not known by a TON of people. It's more like one of those restaurants you find by exploring. And I have to admit, i LOVED it: the food, the service, and the environment. The food was exquisite,... More

Good Cuban food with lots of choices for sides instead of the classic rice, beans and plantains. Happy hour every night with mojito's and cheap margaritas. 2-3 DOLLARS. Quite the bargain.

Nice service. Nice environment. Salty food. It was a little of a downer. I wasn't able to finish my meal because of the salt. I was disappointed as I was starving and figured Florida would have good cuban food hard to find in other parts of the U.S. As a personal chef I look for places where I can enjoy... More

It looks like it used to be a Wendy's, or some other type of fast food joint. My expectations were low because of this, but it went way way way beyond my expectations. The food was great, the palomilla steak was so tender, the black beans were flavorful, the tostones were tasty and the dipping sauce for them was great... More

I love this restaurant and eat here at least once every time I am south Florida. They have locations all over south Florida. My favourite is the fillet de pollo which they serve with sweet plantains, rice and black beans. Make sure to try their combination drink of iced tea and lemonade.
