Unless this place has re-opened, last time I checked in March of 2014, it was out of business. We had a coupon from our recycling company for a free appetizer and thought we'd give this rather pricy place a try, but we were totally out of luck.

If you want great food then this is the place to go. I went for my b-day in March and again in July for my wife b-day. Brought some friends and they LOVED it. If you love to eat you can order 2 half plates and make 1 big plate with 2 different meals. The 3 Oyster that are baked... More

I went this week to Sage and there was a sign on the door that they were closed for "remodeling" until some unspecified time in the Fall. I love oysters, so that's the only reason I go there as they carry a selection of east and west coast oysters supposedly flown in daily. They have a good and reasonably priced... More

Nice atmosphere. Great service. Food was okay. With wine and tip we spent more than $200 for 4 people. Spending that much money would expect something more wonderful. Might return if I had a discount or order the cheap stuff!

I had a so-so experience with Sage Oyster Bar. My bf & I had guests in town who love oysters & bought a great groupon for both of us couples. We showed up earlier than most, about 10 minutes after they opened. I can understand feeling rushed, but they asked us to wait outside. Then when we were ready to... More

We are working in the French Wine Industry. It is always hard for us to find a decent French restaurant when we come in Florida for business. That we found with Sage in downtown Hollywood. We had a seafood platter to start. The French Chef came to our table to present the living lobster before being cooked. And being myself... More

We also unfortunately bought a Groupon, specifically for Sunday Brunch. I would advise anyone to NOT purchase this Groupon or any other from Sage. We have gone there before for dinner and had a great experience, but this was too weird. We spoke to a woman on the phone at Sage a week ago and made reservations for yesterday at... More

I had been looking forward to eating at Sage for months, and we had a Groupon to use there, so we finally went last night. And let me preface this by saying my husband and I never complain about restaurants. We are very easily pleased, and we both have been in the restaurant industry for over a decade. So here... More

We have had such disappointing meals at Sage Ft Lauderdale that we were hesitant about Sage Oyster Bar in Hollywood. A Groupon coupon later, we ventured to Hollywood to see it for ourselves. The restaurant is on an upscale street (Harrison) which has lots of restaurants, bars, clubs and galleries. A very nice place to stroll as well as people... More
