This restaurant should be called "Riptide" with the emphasis on rip. We paid over a hundred dollars, without the tip, for two glasses of wine and two very mediocre entrees. The fish was bland and tasteless, the rice was mushy, and the veggies overcooked and unrecognizable. And, amazingly, the waitress recommended this dish! As far as atmosphere, the beachy look... Excellent food! Fresh, delicious. We love the setting. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable, not pretentious at all. You will love this place!

We had an excellent lunch and a fun time here. The presentation of our lunch was as beautiful as it was delicious. We both had the lobster roll, served with jicama slaw and mixed (white and sweet) potato fries. It was so big and full, you had to eat it with a knife and fork. The presentation was beautiful with... Discover this Bridge Road hidden gem for yourself !! The cuisine is absolutely gourmet and you can relax outside in their layback " sand beach" or choose the island themed dining inside as well. The menu offers amazing diversity but I'm always torn between one of the seafood creations or the best lobstah roll this side of the Hamptons !!

We have stopped here several times for lunch and the food is outstanding. This time we both ordered the Panko Grouper: Fresh grouper lightly fried in japanese bread crumbs; served w/ asian cucumber slaw & coconut rice. The grouper was one of the best that we have had; the asian cucumbers were crispy, the coconut rice was delicious. The lobster... More

Stopped by while wondering A1A for a late afternoon break. Tried the Lobster Bisque with a Sherry side over the Conch Chowder or the New England Clam Chowder. Excellent! We also had the vegetable spring rolls and Conch fritters both served in fun dishes to compliment the food. This is not a fancy place but more of a roadside beach... More

This restaurant is small and quaint. Only a few tables inside but you can eat at the bar and there are high tops also. But it is an open kitchen so it is noisy. If you are looking for a quiet romantic evening...this is not the place. They have increased their seating outside and the wrought iron tables are on... More

Several years ago, I went to the old location just steps away from the new location. Looking for something different, 4 of us went to dinner this Saturday night. I will return for lunch but never for dinner. There is a difference between "beach casual" and cheesy and cheap. By this I mean plastic hula dancers and rubber fish and... More

After attending a rally in support of this Hobe Sound gem we decided to dine; and dine we did! Unannounced and without reservations we were greeted like long lost friends. We were offered a table in the very small dining room but opted to eat "on the beach". The entire front lot of the restaurant has been turned into a... More

I dined here on a dismal, rainy afternoon, and my experience made a drab day sparkle! Everything was wonderful, from the food to the service. Although the dinners are pricey, lunch is very reasonable. I had mani, blackened, and it was perfectly seasoned. It was served with fries, a mixture of regular and sweet potato. Yum! One of my companions... More
