We stayed in High Springs for 3 days and I made a daily trip to this gem of a bakery and sampled most of their treats (several people in our group). Everything was incredibly delicious and fresh. My personal favorites were coconut pound cake, buckeye brownie and the pecan pie bar.

You walk in and it's a small little store. It has a historical feel and the staff are friendly :) When you walk out in backyard, there's a bridge thing you walk over to get to the bakery. Once you get your food, you can sit at the tables and rocking chairs they provide and look at the cute little... More

This is a small Kitchen with a case in the front of an antiques shop. The bakery items are some of the best cakes, cheese cake, and all around deserts that I have tasted. The selection is every limited (6-8 items) but you can order different think if not in a hurry for sweets. Check on time frame of ordering.... More

Usually by late afternoon bakeries have more limited choices available, with their most popular treats sold out. Our 3-person party couldn't decide between the many tempting treats available, so we shared an aptly-named "hunk" of coconut pound cake on site and took three treats along for dessert that night (Mississippi Mud Bar/Brownie; Key Lime Cheesecake Bar; and a cookie dough/Oreo/chocolatey... Fresh and delicious. I have never been disappointed. Friendly family run store and bakery. A must try when you are in town.

They have the best cookies and owner is a lovely person. The adjacent store has wonderful country items for you home. There is also a great place to sit outside and eat your desserts. I brought my grandgirls there.

I decided to take a ride to High Springs this morning and try the Secret Garden Bakery. The owner/chef was very nice and we had a good conversation. I bought 4 incredible dessert bars - key lime cheesecake, cherry, almond cheesecake, a lemon bar and a pecan pie bar. They were some of the best I have ever had. Now... More

While researching our trip to O'Leno I came across this Bakery and decided we should try it. The staff there was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The shop inside was very nice. We had an assortment of cheesecake bars that were reasonably priced. We bought some cookies as well. We hung out in the back which was a... More

We stopped here because of the reviews on Trip Advisor, but probably wouldn't have found it if we weren't seeking it out. Bakery is small building behind shop on Main Street. Park on side street and go in rear gate to, not surprisingly, a hidden garden area. We had lemon bar, buckeye brownie and some sort of cheesecake bar. Everything... More

Before visiting High Springs last March, I thoroughly checked TripAdvisor for reviews. At the time, the Secret Garden Bakery had only 4 reviews, but all excellent! After visiting, I couldn't agree more. My son fell in love with the Buckeye Brownies and my husband loves the Cherry bars, the Pecan bars, and many other baked goods. My favorites are the... More
