For the last 25 years, our Latin American restaurant has specialized in serving authentic Nicaraguan and Central American style cuisine to the area. Our house special and most popular dish, the churrasco which is a tenderloin meat filet, is accompanied with our favorite chimichurri sauce, gallo pinto and sweet plantains. We don't stop there, we also have chicken and seafood available. If you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, our tres leches dessert is a crowd favorite. Soaked in three different kinds of milks and topped with marsh mellow like heavy cream, it is sure to put a nice cap to a wonderful meal. We've continued to be a great family place to dine with live music on weekend. If you're looking to host a special event with a small or large group we can accommodate you. We can easily hold 80+ people at our restaurant. Come see us today, we look forward to having you as our guest. Bienvenidos!

If you like to eat Latin Food, then this is the place you must visit. When you walk in to this restaurant, you walk into an old fashion courtyard in a far away latin country. They have a large water fountain adorning the center of the restaurant. Private booths along the wall look like little casitas (houses). It seems as... More

Fish seems to be the theme of my recent business trip to Miami; at El Novillo it was fish filet with jalapeño sauce. Which is a white sauce with slice peppers in it; savory but not too hot. Served with classic Gallo Pinto (rice and beans); sweet fried plantains and plantain chips. I left a happy woman. My friends go... More

Great churrasco steak. I love the bread, sauces, quantity, and especially the chimichuro sauce. Amazing.

The servicer was just plane ambivalent! I felt I was imposing on her time and effort. No pleasantries, no "you are welcome" to my "thank you"... No sense of timing, relaxing with a glass of wine while reviewing the menu. The food presentation was terrible, the meat fatty, the rice and plantains were cold. While there was plenty of wait... We met friends here for a football weekend to see the Miami Dolphins play.. El Novillo features Nicaraguan dishes with decor that is reminiscent of colonial Nicaragua. First we had a Sampler Platter (Seleccíon de nuestros mejores bocadillos) consisting of Cheese-filled grilled corn tortilla. (Tortilla de maíz rellena de queso derretido); Country sausage with "salsa criolla" and tortilla.(Chorizo servido con... More

Honestly the ambiance could use a little updating, but the food wasn't bad. There are other places I would go before trying this one again. The steak was ok, and they were supposed to be well known for steaks. I'd pass if there is another option on the table.
