Very good Puerto Rican Cuisine

This is a Latin restaurant that specializes in Cuban and Puerto Rican food. For not being a traditional Puerto Rican Restaurant, it has a multitude of Puerto Rican Favorites. It has good ambient and the prices are just right.

I was very impressed at first because they had Medalla's (beer from Puerto Rico) and Morcilla's on the menu (Blood Sausage). The beer was super cold, and the morcilla's were delicious. The rest of the meal was disappointing. I had the Mofongo with fried pork chunks, and both the meat and the plantains were lacking flavor. My husband had the... More

The name has changed in the sign outdoor, which may be an indication of new administration. I used to be a regular within the last 5 yrs back. It used to be great. Now piña colada is served on a margarita glass, almost everything needs salt to at Least have flavor. I'm puertorican and I know true pr flavors, sofrito... More

Traveled to Miami on vacation. Live in Alabama, originally from Puerto Rico. It had been years since we've had our typical food. We found this wonderful restaurant. The live music gave the restaurant a back home feel. The staff was amazing, went above and beyond to meet our needs. The food was amazing. We had the sampler plater which had... More

If you're looking for some home cooking, this is the place. Great Mofongo, and other traditional spanish foods. Clean, and pleasant atmosphere with inexpensive prices

I wanted to try the Monfongo and the restaurant was rated well so we went, and regretted it. I had the 8 oz charrassco skirt steak which was big and fairly tender but had no grilled flavor. The beef had a strong unpleasant flavor and looked like it was cooked on a flattop . The black beans and rice were... More
