I just stopped in, I remember this place when I was treated to lunch by Spanish friends. The mofongo never left my mind. Loved the food. Not PR, just loved it.

We were on vacation in Orlando, but had to take a day trip to Hialeah, FL for business. We arrived early and had time for lunch so we searched on Trip Advisor for a restaurant. Trip Advisor's reviews were spot on and El Reconcito did NOT disappoint. The food was authentic, the portions were generous, the price was reasonable, the... More

We ate here for dinner and not only was the food delicious, the price was affordable and the portions were huge. They have the best mofongo. Ask for it with extra pork rinds or with the sweet plantains. You can't go wrong with way. We had the pinono, which was different and awesome. The vaca frita was made just ride... More

My son and I went here for a very late lunch. The restaurant was nearly full. Besides a dining room, there is also a cafeteria with bar style seating. The waitress was friendly and offered us some recommendations which we tried. The deep fried food was well done and tasty. Although I am no expert for Puerto Rican, I can... More

Food is authentic, fresh and very tasty. I have been to this restaurant like 4 times and every time, I go......it gets better and better! Service is great and ambiance is casual & relax. The monfongo is the best I have ever had at a restaurant in Miami as well as everything else on the menu. I recommend it to... More

Outstanding lechon asado-- very tender and well seasoned-- and the best cafe con leche I had during my stay in the Miami area. The staff is friendly and the menu has a wide assortment of choices. There was a man playing the keyboard when we were there that added to the atmosphere, just an added touch to compliment the excellent... More

The food is just DELICIOUS!! EVERYONE is nice/friendly from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. If it's somebody birthday, this is the place to take them; the whole staff joins in to sing "Happy Birthday" with instruments & all. We visit Florida every three months, we'll be stopping by & eat EVERY time we are traveling through... More

Everything from morcillas (puertorrican sausages) to corn sorullitos filled with cheddar chesse. The location is excellent in the heart of Hialeah, free parking, friendly family place. This is the only place I go whenever I miss my puertorrican food. Great service. Low prices. The skirt steak is my favorite dish.
