It is ok

I would not ssy it is the best sushi, that would be a lie. But it is eatable. You can enter the place and start eating right away, since there are this little ships with Sushi on top running around a small canal of water in the center of the restaurant. My friends and I come here at least once a week to get our sushi fix. The sushi is always fresh and they have a variety to pick from. If you don't see what you want on the boats, ask for it and they'll make it for you. This place is definitely a hidden gem. The staff is always nice... More

I've passed by this place a gazillion times and never stopped in, until this weekend! I LOVE the boat and plate concept. Food is fresh and prepared as ordered. Dinner was phenomenal. Service was perfect! Highly recommend! Note: tiny spot opens from 6-11pm, come early if not prepare to wait. So worth it. Sit by the bar.

I've lived in Miami Lakes for two years and this is my go to place. We go at least once a week, and if we don't we spend the week craving it! The sushi is super fresh and delicious. The yakisoba? Just try it. We love the service. The place looks a little outdated but don't let that fool you.... More

In town on business just looking for sushi...found great sushi and an entertaining atmosphere! Pick what looks appetizing, what a concept. Sushi chef knows his stuff and put out some great food for the price.

Very fresh sushi prepared before your eyes as you sit around the sushi bar and grab whatever you heart desires as the plates pass you by, floating. But watch it, it can get expensive! They also have a la carte items for the not so sushi lovers.

Yelp and iPhone maps says it opens 6am-11pm. Drove from Naples to see a convention in Miami and had Shima in mind for first time floating sushi experience. Place was closed. My party and I couldn't wait till it opened at 6PM, so we ate at a nearby sushi buffet.
