Having moved out of state some years ago, I was anxious on this trip back for good Cuban food. I was very happy to find Padrino's right where I had left it 6 years ago - so much else had changed. The food was as delicious as ever and the service was friendly and accommodating. After I had eaten, when... More

Went for lunch, which seems to be very popular, as there was a good sized crowd for lunch on a Monday. The mojitos were very good and the empanadas and the lechon asado were delicious.

We had a desire for authentic Cuban sandwiches and this restaurant did not disappoint. Located just on the west side of the intracoastal bridge, it is convenient to many of the Hallendale-area hotels. Very neat and clean venue and nicely appointed. The homemade sangria was fresh and tasty and the Cuban sandwiches very good. Prices are reasonable. Service was good... More

This was an easy walk from our hotel (Westin Diplomat Hollywood Beach) and the food was tremendous. I'd definitely recommend it.

My wife and I had dinner at this great little Cuban restaurant two nights in a row because we wanted to sample more of the menu. The skirt steak is outstanding and the shrimp dishes are excellent as well. The sweet plantains accompanying the meal were delicious and to top it all off we enjoyed a tres leches cake for... More

My boyfriend and I had the roast pork and it was fantastic! We followed it with the flan which was to die for! The service staff was great as well! Couldn't have asked for a better dinner!

After spending a couple of days in Hallandale I went to Padrino's to eat with the whole family. I have to say the food was mediocre but the desserts were incredible the flan cheesecake wow the pudin with cognac wow I ended up passing by the next day just for dessert but not for the food.

When I asked a friend for a great restaurant, she suggested Padrino's. Fabulous food. A must go! Don't miss the Mariquitas, Mojito and flan along with dinner.

My husband and I heard of the restaurant from a friend, so we walked from our hotel 1/4 mile away. We both had the tilapia with vegtables, bean and yucca. We also had a glass of sangria. Everything was perfect. We walked in and were seated immediately. The place was hopping. A very nice experience. I recommend it and would... More

This is a family favorite, we like to have lunch at Padrino's at least once a week. The food is always fresh and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Worth it in every aspect!
