Not fancy but really delicious food

This is a small out of the way Italian restaurant with excellent food. The service was not too good yesterday . It is hidden behind a Publix supermarket and not very easy to find. They could use some refurbishing of the furniture. We had some delicious lamb chops.

This place is Italian only as a departure point. Unusual combinations and techniques borrowed from nearby cuisines work. Choice of half and full portions. Pleasant staff. Great wine selection.

There is nothing very compelling about the menu nor the location - hidden behind a Publix supermarket off Hallandale Beach Rd. The wine list is truly world class, but I suspect that most people wouldn't really realise that nor realise the excellent wine pricing. That said, the overall dining experience comes across very well. If you want a good casual... More

It's hard to find this hidden gem even if you live in the neighborhood and shop at nearby publix. It had been recommended by a co worker and met our friends who live in the neighborhood and they had no idea it existed. Crab cakes Dijionaise, Grilled Artichokes and Baked Brie with lingonberries were excellent starters. Lasagna with broccoli and... More

We love discovering a place like this. Inside its warm and intimate and limited seating. The bar is a great place to have a quick bite and great wines. Staff is super professional, friendly and always offering the daily specials with an understanding of how the dishes are prepared. Chef and Owner Emily Finne makes the experience worth waiting for.... More

Michele is originally from Calabria and ran other Italian restaurants in North America before finally settling in Hallandale. You won't go wrong here. My wife and I have eaten here so many times that it is useless to try to pick out the dishes we prefer -- they are all good. We lived and worked in Italy for 20 years,... More

This cafe is a hidden gem, tucked up in a strip shopping center in the shadow of a Publix. Don't let the location fool you. The wine list is exceptional. The menu may seem limited but it reflects the chef's attention to quality and simple clean flavorful food. Because quantities are limited, substitutions aren't guaranteed. I was lucky that the... I love the non commercial wine list. thought the prices were very reasonable. I even took a bottle of shiraz home and the was surprised with how reasonable the take out prices... More

Last night my wife and I wanted to have a relaxing evening and remembered this great little restaurant. We have visited this place on many occasions and we're always satisfied. It's not a large restaurant but if it's cool at night, you should be seated inside. The service was more than adequate and the owner is usually present and acknowledges... More

Bad Location, hard to find, waiters are often slow. Food is not warm, takes a long time to get. The waiters are often very busy.
