My husband and I received a free entree coupon for purchasing our new house so we decided to go for our anniversary. The first thing I noticed about the place was how dark and dirty it was! And, they actually gave us a broken high chair for our 20-month old! My decorative plate was broken, the actual plate was dirty... More

For years, I have heard much about LCB, and finally got to try it. I wish I had put it off for a few more years. The ambience is that of a funeral parlor, the service was unspeakably bad (rude, brusque, unskilled, inattentive, arrogant), and the food bore little resemblance to "cuisine". Maybe the place has good days and bad,... More

this place has been here about 50 years. It's dark, romantic, old school French food. You expect to hear Sinatra from the muzack systym and you do. The wine collection is a sophisticated as any more snooty restaurant in a bigger city. Good date place.

What a great restaurant. Went there with a Restaurant.com voucher and glad I did otherwise I would never have found this little Gem. The décor is Victorian with tables situated in little niches throughout the restaurant. It is very romantic. I had the flounder Florentine with a lemon caper sauce served with rice and mixed vegatables and it was one... More

Took my Significant Other here for Valentine's Day. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was pretty good. The wine was delightful and the mussel appetizer was truly delicious. The bread was also very nice, especially to sop up the sauce from the mussels. She had the Chicken Piccatta which was good (not great) although a bit salty. My... More

We had heard some negative comments about La Cote. They were WRONG! This place has great, freshly preparded entrees, bread and appetizers. We arrived at 4 pm and were treated like royalty by the owners. The meal was incredibly leisurely and served piping hot. The decor is unusal and dark when you arrive from the sunlight. However as you look... More

It really is hard to describe the decor of La Cote. I think it is an either you love it or hate it thing. We thought it was unusual but fun and interesting. My husband had Veiner Schnitzel which he loved and I had Veal Picatta also very good. Nice selection of wine by the bottle but only "house" brand... More
