The wife and I was looking for something different. Soon as we walked inside it smelled like wet dog. Then we around and there was actually a dog inside. We walked right back out. This place should only serve pets and pets only. Don't even waste your time there even if you have a coupon. You would be better off... More

My husband and I enjoyed a delish dinner for my B'Day last night. Our server, Dalton, who is part of the family that runs this restaurant was our waiter and a fine job he did serving us. I had the duck and my husband had the Jaeger Schnitzel and both dinners were excellent. Everything is home made by "Mama" and... More

Okay, so when my very picky sister visited from New York, this ended up being one of her favorite restaurants. Loved the food, and the decor. Yes, it's different, but in a fun way! Cozy and colorful, step back in time to a provincial parlor. Family owned, and the family is awesome! Great dinner for the value, ask the Chef... More

Was hoping this restaurant would be better than it was. Aged decorations were ok and menu looked good upon first sight. Unfortunately, the food was quite bad. Bland, hotel food with frozen quality food. Big disappointment.

This place fills in for early bird and there is a good following. We have eaten the snails there and love the garlic. The other item is the dessert which we like to walk over and enjoy at times.

I wish I had read the reviews before dining here. We had doubts when we saw the outside and the inside was even worse. The linens were very old & dusty including the table cloths. Our bread plates had dried food on them so we sent them back. We didn't like any of the food we ordered. The calamari is... More

The first clue that this was going to be bad is the look of the restaurant from the outside. Then you walk in and the smell hits you - that wet-dog, moldy carpet mixed with frying food smell. We would have left but had a restaurant.com coupon, were tourist and unfamiliar with the area, and thought we'd give the food... More

Know as a local institution, but I'd never eaten there before ... escargot appetizer was good though the melted cheese seemed unnecessary (added nothing to flavor); dinner salad was basic but very fresh; entrees were roasted duck & lamb chops - both were tough & not very savory; also served with very sweet cherry glaze/gravy & that flavor overwhelmed everything... We went there for an anniversary dinner. We had escargot, pate, French lamb chops and schnitzel. The service was excellent and the food even better. You will want extra bread too! Save up your appetite for this place. Romantic atmosphere too.

I was curious as this restaurant had been there many years. Runs coupons in many papers in the area. So I asked my husband to join me for supper. Very old world style décor but charming. Family owned for many years. We were greeted and attended to by a family member and was informed Mother was in the kitchen cooking.... More
