A group of 15 on New Year's Eve is no easy task, particularly when ordering off the regular menu, but La Côte Basque Winehouse pulled it off. The escargots were some of the best ever and while the sauce was a bit heavy the veal was very good, the carrots laced with liqueur a pleasant surprise. The wine list is... More

The property is advertised as French and Continental cuisine. However, the dishes we were served in no way approximated the style and content of the dishes as they are classically known. The dishes were overly sauced, the presentation was unappealing, and the side dishes did not complement the main course. The beverage choices were also limited. The property itself is... More

This place was probably the best hidden gem of our vacation. Server told us it is family owned and operated for 3 generations now, after tasting the food it is easy to see why. I had flounder Florentine and it was the best fish I have had in the week that I had spent in Florida. My boyfriend had beef... More

Frenck at its best. Every meal is cooked to order. So come and relax while the most delicious entre is being prepared. Delicious fresh baked bread. The pickled cabbage which comes with each meal is outstanding! A family owned restaurant for over 40 years. They are doing it right. Non descript out side, but inside is amazing.

We visit the Tampa, St Pete area museums about every other year and like to find different places to stay and particularly super places to dine. This restaurant exceeded our expectations. To begin with it has been in operation for going onto 44 years, so that tells you it has something special going for it. The best escargots in garlic... More

Friends and I went to La Cote Basque often in the 70's early 80's and never came away unimpressed. Service was impeccable with a front waiter ( the one to take your order and check on you through out the meal) a back waiter ( the one who choreographed the front and back of house during your visit) and a... One of the BEST dining experiences we have ever had! We want to Thank Dalton, Justin and the whole Family for the Kindness, Care, and Attentiveness we were shown. When our plans changed at the last minute, we thank you for accommodating us, allowing us to arrive an hour earlier. Truly made us feel like Family members you are looking... More

I have visited La Cote Basque a few times now and have not been disappointed at all. Reading some of the reviews I have to wonder what they would call excellent food especially when they state McDonalds would be better. The Calamari is some of the best I have ever had, no it is not the typical deep fried style... More
