This place had great service and a wonderful setting inside. The dishes seemed very high priced. I don't like to just experiment with a dish I've never had to see if I even like it when it costs $15 plus dollars! So I settled for the sandwich combo. I had half a cuban with a Spanish salad. My cuban came... More

I love their summer dish. Cubans are great and they have this cuban coffee thing with whip cream and chocolate drizzle. I will be back!

In quirky Gulfport, this is a must-stop place. Try the sampler platter (betcha can't eat it all -- we always split it) with all this: pork/peppers/onions, shrimp w/capers in garlic butter, grilled chicken chunks w/artichokes in dilled cream sauce, rice, black beans, fried plantains, house salad and dessert (OMG the most awesome, creamy cheesecake/flan with caramelized brown sugar and butter... I've eaten there several times in the past month. Having visited Havana, Cuba, last year, I was interested to see what they served. Their dishes are very traditional Cuban. The chicken with mushrooms in a dill sauce is superb. It was one of the selections included on their sampler plate. They play Cuban music. Prices are reasonable, and they stay... More

First time here. Had Lechon Asado - Cuban grilled pork. I WAS IN HEAVEN!! Wonderful spices that just make your mouth water. I liked it so much, when I got home to NC, I looked up a recipe and plan on trying to do this dish myself. I HIGHLY recommend this place. It's informal and everyone is VERY friendly! AND... More

This place is a very casual sit down restaurant who has won local awards for its dessert as well as mention in Rand McNally for 'Best Sampler Plate' and 'Best Latin Cookbook' award be Gourmand magazine. Very nice people, food was great...my first experience with authentic Cuban food. I'll come back and bring guests. Very casual dining.

My co-workers and I took a party of 6 to Habana for lunch recently. The food is good Cuban food. I had the Spanish Salad with grilled shrimp. It was the closest thing to a healthy selection I could find. The shrimp was awesome. They give you a ton of cheese and dressing - so just ask for stuff on... More

We try to experience different ethnic restaurant when we travel so decided to try the Habana Cafe. The decor is very colorful and has murals on the walls. Portions were huge and the three of us had different dishes and all were delicious. Loved the Cuban bread. Service was friendly and efficient and wish we had such a restaurant where... More

We return to the Habana whenever we return to Florida. It is always great!!! The roast pork however they serve it is fantastic. Don't miss the Drucken Shrimp with bread to dip in the sauce. Wonderful Cuban sandwich. Great service, nice people.
