Simply delicious

Best lunch of the trip . We ordered the Sample Plate and shared it. It was delicious . The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is our waiter was a newbie but I'm sure he'll get better in time . Recommended 👍

Went for lunch today. Had the sampler platter, but we shared between 2 of us. It was a great way to try 4 different dishes. Also came with black beans & rice, a couple of pieces of plaintain, & great bread. All good. Plus came with a taste of the cream cheese flan for dessert. YUM! I even ordered a... More

Near the water in Gulfport but away from the crowded restaurants on the water, this Cuban Cafe has the best homemade bread and absolutely the best Cuban food! It's reasonably priced. The shrimp picatta and a chicken dish is unbelievable. My husband and I order the sampler for 20.00 and neither of us drink alcohol so for 10 each we... More

4 People for dinner on a slow night. Waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. Downstairs has a very lunch feel. Upstairs more of a dinner vibe and quieter. We asked to be seated upstairs. Menu has some good variety. Our group had the No 1 which is a beef dish. Review on that was solid. The champagne chicken and chicken... More

Love this restaurant at ant time of the day. Speciality is the Pork dish with Plantain, black beans and rice. Pretty sure it's No 4 on the menu.....our FAVE, along with the warm Cuban bread. Mouth-wateringly good

There were four of us for dinner 1/2/16. Three of us enjoyed the meal, BUT I ordered the Picadillo and yellow rice and black bean soup. Unfortunately, the Picadillo was extremely greesey and looked and tasted like it had been in a pot on the back of the stove for several days. It had no taste and none of the... More

This was, by far, the best meal on our trip! We arrived about 5:30 and the place was already packed (several big parties that hadn't made reservations - you can make them, and should!). We were seated but had to wait a bit, but after ordering a pitcher of their delicious sangria, we didn't mind. I ordered the pork platter,... More

I love this restaurant! I couldn't resist ordering the sampler (only 19.95) and was one happy diner. The Cuban pork dish was tender and flavorful; the shrimp piccata was delicious and the chicken in a white sauce may have been the best of all. All entrees come with flavorful black beans, rice and plantains. Oh, and the salad appetizer was... More

We have been going to Habana Cafe for many years. Get there 2-3 times / yr when we are in St. Petersburg. Food is very consistent in being tasty and delicious and authentically Cuban. Shrimp in Summer Dill Sauce is go to dish for my dining partner. I usually have the pork (marinated in tasty spices), but tonight, I chose... More

We stopped here after the kids saturday game. My sons enjoyed the pollo dish and we tried the picadullo and filete de palomillo. The food and service were great. Once you are done with your meal please have the cuban coffee along with the cream cheese flan that is to die for!, Thanks to Angelina our server, great job!.
