If you are looking for authentic Cuban food, stay away. The receiving hostess was nice, but does not speak a word of Spanish, did not even knew what a materva was. Granted, she is not the server, but she tried to fill in because after waiting several minutes no one came to our table, although there were 3 to 4... More

fantastic authentic cuban food at excellent prices. service can be slow but is probably due to the home cooked style meals. beer and wine available at reasonable prices. come early or make a reservation as the locals crowd up the joint most nights. no live music, no view ... just come for the food and you won't be disappointed. take... I was skeptical at first since a lot of Cuban restaurants I have gone to don't really serve real Cuban food. I am Cuban so I can tell the difference. But this restaurant by far really serves true Cuban Cuisine. The dishes are reasonably price, they give you a lot of portion, the food tastes wonderful, and the service is... More

My wife and I have dined at this Gulfport gem for years. The Sangria is amazing and two people will enjoy the half carafe with dinner. The drunken shrimp is served with Cuban bread toasted for dipping and makes for a very large appetizer. It goes perfect paired with the small cuban salad. The dinners are $10.95 and up,too many choices to list.I... More

This place had great service and a wonderful setting inside. The dishes seemed very high priced. I don't like to just experiment with a dish I've never had to see if I even like it when it costs $15 plus dollars! So I settled for the sandwich combo. I had half a cuban with a Spanish salad. My cuban came... More

I love their summer dish. Cubans are great and they have this cuban coffee thing with whip cream and chocolate drizzle. I will be back!

In quirky Gulfport, this is a must-stop place. Try the sampler platter (betcha can't eat it all -- we always split it) with all this: pork/peppers/onions, shrimp w/capers in garlic butter, grilled chicken chunks w/artichokes in dilled cream sauce, rice, black beans, fried plantains, house salad and dessert (OMG the most awesome, creamy cheesecake/flan with caramelized brown sugar and butter... I've eaten there several times in the past month. Having visited Havana, Cuba, last year, I was interested to see what they served. Their dishes are very traditional Cuban. The chicken with mushrooms in a dill sauce is superb. It was one of the selections included on their sampler plate. They play Cuban music. Prices are reasonable, and they stay... More

First time here. Had Lechon Asado - Cuban grilled pork. I WAS IN HEAVEN!! Wonderful spices that just make your mouth water. I liked it so much, when I got home to NC, I looked up a recipe and plan on trying to do this dish myself. I HIGHLY recommend this place. It's informal and everyone is VERY friendly! AND... More

This place is a very casual sit down restaurant who has won local awards for its dessert as well as mention in Rand McNally for 'Best Sampler Plate' and 'Best Latin Cookbook' award be Gourmand magazine. Very nice people, food was great...my first experience with authentic Cuban food. I'll come back and bring guests. Very casual dining.
