Yes! We told them we would surprise them one day...and we did! A reunion of cousins after 3 decades. It was so great so see you, Armand and Karen, at your amazing "Gulfport Café"!!! We had such a wonderful time during our visit to the Café. Our food was delicious and we just loved the atmosphere, the music and the... More

Didn't think it would take near 2 months to get back to this gem of a restaurant but we made it. I returned this week to pick up mom and bring her home and could not leave without a stop at Gulfport Café. Friendliest place I've ever been to. My husband ordered a Philly Cheese sub and I had a... I first reviewed the Gulfport Café at the beginning of the year. Since then, I have returned with each of my groups of visitors as well as with others who live in my building at Town Shores. The food and service are very consistent. Sure, sometimes something can come out with an error; but, the owners/operators really care, and can... More

Did the breakfast thing with my friend on Monday. Place was very crowded. Apparently there was a political group holding a meeting in the rear dining room. The wait(not bad)was well worth it. One FAT omellette. puurrrfect grits and the best service this side of..well, you get it. Cant wait to return!

On a recent trip to Gulfport on a lazy Saturday morning, my husband and I decided to stop at the Gulfport Café for brunch. The food was great...fresh and prepared just as we ordered. The service was especially warm and friendly. It was nice getting to offer our compliments to the owners, who work daily as chef and server. This... More

We found this place on TA. The burger with the works had to be one of the best burgers I have ever had. The peppers I had on them were not just green but red and yellow. I don't know what spices were used but I'll be back for another. Service was very friendly and the stuff on the walls... More

This café serves breakfast all day which is a plus in my book ! Among the various omelets, I went with the Greek and my wife chose to go "al la carte", getting oatmeal, bagel and cream cheese and a fruit bowl which we shared. Nothing skimpy in the amount of spinach, tomatoes and feta in the omelet. It came... More

We are new snowbirds to Gulfport. We thought we would try this cafe located near our home. What a lovely place this is! We loved and enjoyed so much looking at all the vintage decor. My eggs over easy was done perfectly, which I find most people have trouble with. My husbands breakfast wrap was great and very filling with... More

On a two week vacation with friends and the Gulfport Café was referred to us by some of the locals in Gulfport. We sat in the front dinning room , had a clear view of the " lake" across the street with its fountains and birds. The waitress were all friendly and acknowledged us immediately, asked our names then called... More

As others noted, this is a friendly place. Diners and waitresses greeted each other by name. I like that. But when we were seated, the dining room was full. By the time our breakfast arrived, nearly everyone had gone - we had waited about 30 minutes for our breakfast, a long time to sit. My wife's hash browns had a... More
