Peg's is a renovated bungalow nestled in Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg with an outdoor patio (surrounded by Florida native fauna), a covered Indoor-Outdoor porch and an inside bar with 3 tables. The cuisine is a fusion of New American and Mexican. Cycle Brewing began at Peg's and is still the hallmark of good beer at the Cantina, but there are always a couple of guest taps. The wine menu is priced at $23 bottles and $33 bottles. Many offered by the glass. The list targets Latin American and Spanish wineries.

Tasty food

Two separate atmospheres: inside is an intimate bar and outside is relaxing. The food and beers on tap were great to eat and not too pricy. We are from St. Louis but would definitely visit again if we had the chance.

We vacationed in the Clearwater area two years in a row and both times we've gone here for dinner. The food is great, the atmosphere is also very nice. On this visit, we made a last minute reservation on a Friday evening at about 7pm for 16 people. Peg herself set up tables for us outside and made sure we... More

My son made reservations here during our recent visit and we fell in love with the place. The menu is relatively small, but offers a good variety of Mexican and local dishes. I had a pork burrito that was excellent. The place also brews its own beer which is very good. We dined outside of a hot, muggy night. Each... More

I love the food, but the beer? It is amazing as it is either brewed at their Cycle brewing or they offer other craft beers from other sources. You must try their Porter and yet there is another brew we tried tonight that I cannot remember the name. Doesn't matter. They offer great brew and Sangria, too.

I have been to Peg's before and great tapas plates along with their big plates. Had their chicken burrito and it has a bit of an asian flavor to it. The beer that they brew there is excellent but, they did not have my favorite "cream and sugar" stout. BTW they no longer fill growlers.

We remembered this restaurant from a previous trip and were excited to visit again. The service was great and we really enjoyed the various tapas offerings. Also, enjoyed the outdoor seating. They did accept credit cards so no problem worrying about having to scramble for cash. Nice selection of brews as well.

The food was very good and service was great BUT this restaurant does not accept credit cards. DUH-Its 2015! I'm certain if they started accepting cards they would have more business

Loved the beer. The food was good, but the beer was what made this place memorable. Glad I stopped by on my friends suggestion.

Went on cinco de mayo, had fish and jerk chicken tacos. There were 5 or 6 other entries I wanted to try. Service was friendly and prompt, food came fast and hot. Both the food and the small batch cycle brews were fantastic. Restaurant had a ton of character. Must visit.

We often go to Peg's for their craft brews and delicious fare. A new menu addition and my new addiction: curry chicken tacos. These soft shell flour tacos are incredibly flavorful and fresh-tasting. Served with rice and beans, you must try if you like curry. All the food at Peg's is creatively prepared and presented in a very comfortable ambiance.... More
