I was so excited to find out there was a Puerto Rican restaurant close to where I live which is 25 min, and was majorly dissapointed. Service was terrible and the food was just not good. If you don't have good arroz con gandules which is a staple in PR then it's a bad sign. Some of the appetizers were... More

Everyone I bring to this restaurant is always please with the food. My favorite is the mofongo, pork chunks, & alcapurrias. Next time I will try 'el tipico', since I hear so much rave about it. The service is slow because they pretty much make everything fresh. Take the mofongo it always has to be made fresh, that's why you... More

I do not usually like to go out for Hispanic food because it's what I've eaten my entire life, but this is the only Hispanic place that I will go out to eat at... and it's because of the mofongo. I know a lot of people do not like plantains, but I would still recommend trying this. The broth that... More

I wasn't impressed with this restaurant. The food was OK. I ordered Mofongo con pollo, relleno de papa, arroz blanco y habichuelas. I felt the food wasn't freshly cooked. The beans were salty and the relleno de papa was made with corn beef. I felt the relleno de papa should've been prepared with carne molida. I wouldn't go back; moreover,... More

For hispanic minorities in South Florida you have to remember that Palm Beach is NOT predominant in puertoricans like other places in Orlando, Bronx or Jersey. Taking that in consideration I could sat that the flavor and cuisine here is excellent. Great portions, exquisite taste and great enviroment. However, service takes a little bit of extra time tham ussual, so... More

Look, I've had ALOT of Puerto Rican food, being Puerto Rican. This is average at best. I've had better in my hometown of New York. I've even had better in Orlando, FL. Given what I have experienced, they aren't the best nor the worse.

Visiting from NY, I dropped in for lunch based on the reviews on dripadvisor. Must say I was disappointed. I ordered the special of the day octopus Mofongo, they gave me a chicken broth to accompany the mofongo but it did not compliment it well. I must say the alcapurria and relleno de papa were delicious. the frosted beer mug... More

I love this restaurant. Being 1/2 puerto rican, I grew up on this food. It is the most authentic PR food in all of south florida in my opinion. The "arroz con gandulles" is to die for. So is the Mofongo. The pasteles are also out of this world.....
