Four of us had a wonderful lunch at the Little Bar in Goodland on the edge of Marco Island. The conch chowder was fresh and excellent; a grouper sandwich was lightly fried yet crispy and tasty; fried oysters were fresh, flavorful and succulent. French fries were perfectly done. Service was friendly, knowledgable and quick. On top of that, prices are... More

We were directed here by the hotel as they were one of a few who still had stone crabs. You would find this place without word of mouth recommendations. Definitely a neighborhood favorite. Most people knew each other. The waitress knew menu and made suggestions about what looked better in the kitchen that night. Did have the stone crabs for... More

The seafood was as fresh as it gets. The prime rib was excellent. My daughter order the filet mignon, which she swapped out for the prime rib (it was kind of dry and flavorless). The service was very good. We would return.

Great music staff and food....it is evident when you visit, the grouper balls for appetizer and ribs for dinner was great...we sat in a room that was the inside of an old classic boat used in an old 1950 movie called wind across the everglades

The Food was very good!! There's nothing better than fresh caught fish!!! We sat in the bar and enjoyed the entertainment. The bar area is VERY small and the tables are cramped but the food makes up for the "tight" quarters. We've sat in the restaurant area other times and it's really nice. Give the "Little Bar Restaurant" a try... More

Really enjoyed our visit to The Little Bar. Very friendly, excellent seafood, and fun outdoor seating right on the water. From the outside, you might drive on by... but in my experience, those are the best places of all. Love how they bring the huge menu right to the table and hang it up for you to review. We had... Usually my wife and I find a spot on a trip where we have to eat at twice. This was the spot having had lunch one day and dinner a different day. Just a casual place that had great food and friendly service. I had the blackened grouper and it melted in my mouth. The crab cakes my wife had... More

- that is how it felt for me on our 8 days Florida (Everglades to Crystal River) trip. It is a quiet, remote, relaxing spot. We were there on a Monday, mid-April, around noon, after a fishing trip. They cook fish you caught for a small price, adding a side to the dish. We also had tuna, very fresh tasting.... More

Service was quick and efficient. Good selection of appetizers, seafood entrees, sandwiches, plus three salad options. Our group had conch fritter and smoked amberjack apps - both very tasty - and scallops, shrimp in the shell, and fried oysters for the main course @ at an average of about $14. All were nicely cooked and tasty with decent-size portions. The... More
