Our son has had the pleasure of eating many times. He ordered for us: roast pork sandwiches with sweet plantains & Cuban Sandwiches with banana chips. The fresh pork sandwich was amazing! Loved the fresh mojo sauce! The Cuban sandwiches tasted great. Only the banana chips needed some improvements.

Latin food with out proper seasoning. Food is bland and overpriced. Coming from Miami I am spoiled with good Hispanic food. I know Hispanic food. This is very bad hispanic food. Avoid this restaurant.

Agree with the other reviews, low key, fun place. The food is excellent and the staff helpful. The pork is great and our group tried a number of sides, all good. Try and experiment with something totally new that you have not tried before, this is the place to step out of your comfort zone.

This is a very casual restaurant that serves very good food. You won't go wrong with anything you order but... save room for the $1.50 flan for desert - a real bargain.

We have been going here for about two years now and it is by far the go to place for a good, fast meal. Breakfast or lunch, it doesn't matter, the food is amazing. The cafe con leche is my Mom's favorite, but I tried the cortadito the other day and I am hooked for life now. The sandwiches, any... More

We wanted a roast pork sandwich and a cuban and what a fabulous place to stop. Looks like fast food yet everything we ate was beyond a mama's kitchen. Red beans taste great, the roast pork sandwich Excellent, the Cuban superb, the fried plantains sweet like sugar. A wonderful place to eat, enjoy, and not fussy just darn GOOD.

This restaurant is a real "find". Nothing fancy - be prepared for paper plates! However... the food is as authentic as it gets. And... where can you get a really good flan for desert for $1.50 ! We have never had to "wait" - fast, friendly service. Right across the street from the Gator campus.

This is the most authentic Latin restaurant we have seen outside of Miami. Although it is mostly Cuban, Mi Apa offers dishes from other Latin American countries as well. The quality of the food is excellent and the service was superb. We felt at home although miles away. It was amazing to find a true Cuban coffee or fresh Pastiltos.... More

My hubby and I stopped after a movie and he had the empanada and stuffed potatoes. He said they were good. I had the pamillo steak and out was with great flavor a bit tough though. The churros were good but not like what I am accustomed to. They were very fresh and served hot out of the fryer with... More
