The food is great, I've lived in Gainesville for several years and it is the place I go to for sushi. I personally don't like all of the pizazz of dragonfly...I feel like that place is more about trends and less about food. This place is a place to get good sushi, not to meet sorority girls. more
Ichiban has been open in the present location for several years. Others have commented on the management and the owner is rather grouchy. Good food, but no atmosphere. If you are just looking for some fresh sushi, this might be a good bet. They have good food, but the management makes it not worth it at all. I knew people who worked there and they told me horror stories. The management never wanted to refund or comp anything (if the customer didn't like what they ordered, if there was a hair in it, etc) and would argue with the customers to avoid losing... more
