The service was excellent, the atmosphere was very nice and homey. The food was good.. With a few real stars like their shrimp and grits. I'd give it a 5 but I considered the food overall to be very good, but not especially exceptional. If in the area, we would most likely recommend Harry's to a friend.

I ate at Harry's 4 nights in a row in August 2014. Each night I was very happy with my food and beverages. 3 of the 4 nights I had the same waitress, Mary, who was friendly and professional. She remembered my drink order each night and that I was staying at the Hampton across the street. Harry's offers a... More

We stopped in Harry's in our way to Orlando. The food was tasty specially the chicken Baton Rouge. Beer was very cold! Burgers were all little bit on the flavorless side, but overall we enjoyed the food and the place!

I had been here once prior and only tried one dish and wasn't impressed, but I happened to cone back with my wife and I'm glad I did! Both of our entrees, Harry's style chicken and shrimp and grits were excellent with large portions. The price is average and the decor standard but come for the food!

I had met an amazing woman through an Internet dating service and needed a place for us to meet that was midway between our homes. We decided on the Harry's in Ocala. The evening was wonderful and the woman ever bit as amazing in person as she had been online. Over the next few months, I moved to Gainesville where... More

I'll start off with the negatives and this is mainly aimed at most US restaurants. I'm a big guy who likes his food and I was hungry, but I was utterly defeated by my entree of Jumbalaya. Seriously, less is more. Other than that niggle, Harry's was everything you want a family restaurant to be. God for with excellent service.

We had supper Jul 27which was a Sunday evening. The four of us were seated right away in a booth by a window. The waiter was very good and attentive. We had drinks which were well made. I had an appetizer of calamari which was fried perfectly and the dipping sauce was good. For my main I had bourbon glazed... More

Ate here on a Friday evening and took a patio table. Took waitress a while to get to us. After food arrived, we needed ketchup for my wife's fries. Waited and finally went inside to tell the hostess. Only saw waitress once more before we were done. Shrimp scampi was very good, wife's burger was big and cooked correctly. Prices... More

Visited Harry's Sat. afternoon and were so happy w/food and service. Shared the Mussels St. Charles - outstanding. The spicy sauce was excellent and we sopped up every morsel with our bread. Our server, Brandi, was efficient, very informative and after raving about this sauce she told us we could order the St. Charles sauce w/pasta next time. And -... More
