Thank you for visiting Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille! A distinctively different menu, the food of Harry's Seafood Bar and Grille captures the essence of a city not only known worldwide as the birthplace of Jazz but also the birthplace of a unique style of cooking. We've taken the best of Cajun, Creole and Southern flavors infused with a current day twist to create some of our most popular dishes like Shrimp and Scallop Orleans, Grilled Chicken Baton Rouge, Crab Crusted Blackened Red Fish, Bourbon Street Salmon and French Quarter Beef Tenderloin to name a few.

Love the Scallop and Shrimp Orleans!

This is a chain but I still love it. I love the grit cakes, they are so delicious and creamy. Topped with seafood and a little cajun love, it's fantastic! I love our Gainesville Harry's atmosphere, just the right amount of dim lighting, and fun New Orleans inspired memorable - sans the smell of... read more

We ate here one evening after an event. UF campus was empty, as it was mid-May between semesters. Harry's wasn't busy, with several empty tables, yet the service was super slow. The server apologized for the wait, but never seemed to know what to do to speed things along. The food was standard New Orleans fare; nothing stood out as... More

The restaurant was located right in the middle of town and it was packed with people. I had the salmon and it was delicious. The food has a New Orleans flavor to it and since we had just gone to New Orleans recently, I can tell u this menu could be found on Bourbon st. Enjoy!

It looks more charming than it is. The outdoor dining is nice. Unfortunately, it is pretty disorganized and there were too many people milling around, waiting for tables, etc. The service was very friendly but slow. The food is inconsistent. Had a seafood fondue appetizer that was quite poor. The fried oysters were very good, but basics like water, lemon,... More

My wife and I were in Florida looking for a place to retire. We had checked out a nice place in Kissimmee and had a reservation the next day near Gainesville. We had almost no breakfast and had skipped lunch. We were hungry and trying to line up a sushi bar about 3 o'clock and found all closed. We decided... More

I love Cajun/New Orleans style food so when my son suggested we go here for a Sunday lunch, I was excited. We started with friend green tomatoes. They were lightly bread, not at all greasy, made with tangy green tomatoes and were very good. I had a bowl of gumbo for my meal. I would have liked a little more... More

I lived in NOLA for over a year and fell in love with cajun food. Harry's food was excellent, as was the service.

Seafood was cold and tasted iffy and service was awful. Waited over hour for terrible food. This place used to be good but now I list it way under red lobster. They told us 35 minutes and it was 75. The waiter was almost nonexistent. The hosted was rude and laughed visibly at folks getting upset by the wait. The... More

As friends we all go to the local Harry's often. Two of us ordered the Prime Rib dinner the other gal ordered the Trout dinner. The service is still great, price is a little steep but both our steaks were not to par, over half of both our prime ribs were more fat and grizzle then good meat. When I... More

Food was excellent and the service was top notch. Recommend the fried green tomatoes. Serves Cajun style food - red beans and rice, jambalaya, etc. Everything our party had was very good.
