We had a party of 7 to eat out on our stay in Gainesville. We sat by the windows and it was great to look outside in the evening. The staff was great and on top of everything. The food was delicious. I will return to Harry's the next time I am in Gainesville.

I eat often in the Lakeland restaurant, and until I walked into this one, I did not realize it is a chain. We were a party of about 12 in town for a wedding and just popped in for lunch. No problem, the service was excellent and attentive. The shrimp and grits is delicious, and if Cajun isn't your thing,... More

This is a New Orleans style restaurant and the hardest thing to duplicate about New Orleans is the great French Bread--crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside which is accomplished by water misters inside the oven. Harry's must have them and the bread is perfect! Especially when applied liberally to the Cajun Fondeaux app of shrimp, crawfish, mushrooms... More

They were busy on a Saturday night but we walked right to a table for 5 a little after 7. The drinks were well made and proportioned. The service was excellent. My date and I couldn't decide on fish or steak and the waiter suggested with get a split order of each, there was no split charge. The Beef Medallions... More

Stopped by for lunch. Nice location in downtown Gainesville in the middle of all the activity. Nice atmosphere, quaint outside seating area. Ordered fish tacos, a grouper sandwich and a burger. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Noteworthy was the seasoned butter served with the bread. We found ourselves dipping everything into it.

As a LA native I understand it is hard for some to understand that just because you say Cajun does not mean it has to be hot. It has to be robust in flavor. This can't be said for my night out at Harry's. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp while my husband ordered the Blackened Red Fish. As we both... More

When we lived in Lakeland, FL the Harry's there was out favorite place to go for a special event. Since moving to Gainesville, FL we have been very underwhelmed by our local Harry's. The service is only okay and the food just does not have the same level of flavor that we experienced other places. The food is at a... More

Friendly and Yummy Place to eat. Recommend the She Crab Soup and the Fried Tomatoes. Be careful when you order since some foods are spicy. To top off recommend the biegnets for dessert. Its in the downtown area so you can get the feel of Gainesville.

The atmosphere at Harry's is laid back and fun. From the music to the food to the staff. If you've ever been to New Orleans, you can relate. Drink specials provided by friendly and competent bartenders make for an enjoyable time. The food reminds me of meals I've enjoyed down in the Quarter. Be it a special occasion, a happy... More
