We loved the atmosphere. It was a great meal, we had the blackened fish sandwich and pasta. The waiters were friendly and entertaining. Gainesville is a college town with friendly people .

Their Jambalaya is delicious!! Any food or dessert we have tried is delicious! The ambiance is not fancy but comfortable.. The waitresses are nice, although the hostess wasn't so much. Is always busy but there is no wait at all... Great place for date night or night with friends!

Ran into Harry's really hungry and was greeted, seated & fed in minimal time. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic service and oh-such-yummy food in great portions at the right price! I enjoyed a shrimp po'boy (large & fresh) with a side of the best cheesey, creamy grits imaginable. Wish I lived nearby!

Stopped in for a late dinner at the recommendation of our hotel across the street. Huge portions to share, great quality, very ample drinks.

While in Gainesville last week I was treated to a terrific lunch at Harry's. The atmosphere and menu reminded me of New Orleans - which I thought was unusual in Gainesville. My friends and I each enjoyed something different from the menu as well as the house salad and fresh baked bread. The food was delicious! Our server was attentive... More

Seldom rave about a restaurant but the food was just excellent. There were five of us at the table. We shared the eggplant stack with crab, and the seafood trio for appetizers. We all loved them. I had the French Baked Scallops. It was a very generous portion and each bite was just as exciting as the first. Wow! My... More

Arriving late to Gainesville, I was pleased to see this restaurant right across the street from my hotel and was immediately seated. I found a pleasant upscale bar/grill atmosphere. The menu contained a variety of moderately priced Creole and seafood entrees. The overall feel, however, was of a chain and mass produced entrees. I ordered a shrimp embellished tilapia entree... We stopped overnight in Gainesville and for the second year in a row ate at Harry's. We were there for happy hour - $4 house wines (generous pours). I had the jambalaya and the wife had shrimp. Both entrees were very good. The side of red beans and rice was average. Erin's service was helpful, friendly & attentive. The house... More

We got some classic N. O. dishes (shrimp etouffee, jambalaya, red beans & rice). Servings were large, food was good, service was good.
