Love this place! It is unique and quirky and the pizza is the best in town. Get the deep dish if it is available. Make sure you get a salad, it's wonderful! And, of course, be sure to check out lightnin' salvage. :)

Decor is very funky but you can't eat the chairs. If your looking for some type of "hipster experience" then you will be very pleased. If your looking for good pizza you should try another place. By the way there is absolutely no parking so I would recommend going off hours.

We have been to Satchels many times. If we have out of town guests, we bring them here for some thing unique. Their deep dish pizzas are awesome and their salads are out of this world. The art and unique atmosphere will keep you entertained. And the gift shop is full of hard to find trinkets. Cash only, but has... More

Great pizza, great calzones! They even had a non dairy cheese option for my wife who is lactose intolerant. My son and roommate couldn't finish the large pizza they ordered. Large means large! My Italian sausage calzone was excellent as well as my daughters steak and cheese calzone. We skipped dessert as we were all full but I spyed a... More

There's something to be said for an owner who cares so much about his restaurant. Satchel's has great pizza and Satche's salads are THE BEST. The salad is like a healthy form of dessert, seriously, it's awesome. There's a lot of character, heart and soul that goes into making Satche's pizza what it is, and we will miss it when... More

This is a very interesting place to visit with a lot of unique art and people. You can eat outside in a VW minibus or inside, whatever, the food is excellent. The salads are great. The lunch specials are filling, and they make their own soda. They only take cash, and there is a very liberal or eclectic 'feel' to... More

Satchel's is nothing if not unique. From the moment you walk up and see the decor to the hippy-and-don't-care vibe of the place, you know that it's unique. The pizza is great! The chocolate cake is even better! Just an FYI if you're going for the first time: expect to wait a little bit (especially on weekend nights), and there... More

The pizza was good, and the place had so many interesting things to look at. There was entertainment the night we were there, and between that and all the fun stuff to walk around and look at, it seemed the pizza was there in no time.
