This is a high end steak house comparable to the Capitol Grille, Ruth's Chris etc. Prices and qualtiy are about the same. Nice location in downtown Gainesville across the street from the Hampton Inn. Mark's is a great restaurant in almost every way. Their beef is tender and flavorful. Their crab bisque, which sometimes has contained crab shells when I got it (every time I've visited) is delicious. The Big Blue, or Baby Blue, Salad is not to be missed. My husband and I had a rough year and we decided we deserved a NICE dinner outo. That's exactly what we got at Mark's. This is the closest Gainesville has to a Ruth Chris/Morton's type place. Have eaten there several times and usually always a great experience. I espcially love their crab claw appetizer. more

Greetings, We went to Mark's U.S. Prime for dinner and I would rate our food as average. Service was OK but the food was not worth the price. We would not go back again. more

This is close as your going to get to a Ruth Chris or Shula's in Gainesville. Excellent service. Excellent atmsphere. Excellent food. As with most steakhouses they serve family style portions. Enjoy..worth the $$$ more
