We were charged $7.00 for a cup of tea. When complained, we were told that because we asked for several tea bags, each bag of tea needs to be paid for. We were treated with extreme rudeness by the young manager. We travel a lot and have never experienced this type of rudeness at a restaurant.

Pomodoro is an old favorite, but a bit out of our way way West on NW 39th Avenue. The service is first rate, the food is the best Italian in the area, and the ambiance is super. Friendly wait staff, tasty food, and elevator music that features not some pop-rock thump-a-tub, but Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Ella Fitzgerald intermixed... More

We stopped here on the recommendation of the front desk of the local hotel we were staying at. It was apparent we were in an Italian restaurant, but it was not overly done. The dining area was clean and there was little noise. The service was very good. I ordered the Veal Parmesan. It came with a side of Penne... More

We stopped in here on our way to Madeira Beach, just fancied pizza.....it was ok.....nothing amazing but all through our meal I was very aware of music, way too loud to have a conversation, the owner who was in the restaurant obviously loved it, but even for me, at 65 it was depressingly old.....O Sol o mio .....santa luccia ......sorry... We eat here every Sunday after church, the food is usually good and the service is always average or above average. They have pulled their restaurant quality up a lot over the past few years and seem to e continually improving. My one complaint is that their pizza is a little greasy and is occasionally bland, however their balsamic bread... More

Cheerful and attentive service. Pasta may be a little overdone but sauce was very good. Balsamic dipping was original and very tasty. All in all a very positive dining experience.

I went here with my daughter, sister and mother and had a delightful time. We went for lunch and I had a slice of their pizza with some minestrone soup. My mom had their open face calzone which was served with a generous portion of sauce on the side, and my sister was happy with her sandwich and fries. What... More

Sometimes a restaurant gives a huge discount coupon because they want to show their loyalty to the customer, other times they give it because they need the business. I think the latter int he case of Pomodoro. I signed up and received a $10 off $40 coupon. We ordered the "specials' so we didn't reach the $40 mark. The server... More
