Desert, Please!

I don't care for the food here, but there is no question they may have the best deserts in town. Fancy pastries supported by a wide variety of other delicious items. Go for coffee and desert. You will enjoy your visit.

Great food and a nice relaxed but upscale atmosphere. Chef/owner visits every table and really wants guests opinions.

The service was prompt and with a smile. The spinach-cilantro dish was very salty. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. It may be worth giving a try again, but since I don't live in Gainesville I don't know when the opportunity will arise again.

Our host was very pleasant, the atmosphere was nice, and the chorizo burrito I had off of the brunch menu was one of the best things I have ever eaten anywhere!

We stopped for late lunch, and ordered one special of filet steak tacos. They were very good, and we should have both ordered that. However, since we had never been there before, we also ordered a chicken burrito with added pineapple. That turned out to be just so-so in flavor. We will try this place again, and it give it... We have been going to Emiliano's for many years. Food and service are wonderful. Downtown Gainesville is alive and thriving and nice to see Emiliano's doing well with all the new choices. Would highly recommend Emiliano's for families, couples or friends wanting to enjoy good food and a warm atmosphere.

My first time here and I was impressed with the overall experience. The service was excellent. While I was somewhat limited in personal choices as to what to pick from on the Cuban-South American menu, what I chose was awesome (a Cuban sandwich and fries.) My co-worker got one of his usual rice and bean bowls that he always enjoys.... More

Emiliano’s Café is the ideal place to dine if you are looking for a nice meal but still want a restaurant where you will feel comfortable bringing the little ones who might have a hard time staying put. We chose a table on the outdoor patio where we could enjoy the fabulous weather while the kids where entertained painting. The... More

Delicious Cuban and South American food. It's a staple in Gainesville. Great tropical food and drink in North Florida.

I only go here once a year because I am not a huge fan. The food is of good quality, but the flavors don't always work. There are also few options for people who don't want fried food. I hate the black beans, but I love the coffee!
