This is a nice place that has a comfortable feel. Good if you are looking for a bigger meal or small plates. A wide selection gives you ample choices pending your likes for the day. Meats , seafood or veggie are all represented well . You get that family feel as the owner makes sure all items are... read more

A friend and I have been staying in G'ville for work and as a result, we have been to a number of the local restaurants. I must say that G'vlle has a great variety. Tonight we stopped in at Emiliano's Cafe and it was amazing. Everything we had was fantastic from the peach purses to the main course pastas to... More

Not only is the service amazing every time we go, but we LOVE the menu and the monthly chef specials. You won't find food like this anywhere else.

1. Great mojitos (but I don't drink them much, I'm on vacation and they were awesome) 2. Great veg options. Gainesville has a lot to offer on the veg scene- but mostly with soy products and I'm not about that. Saw a good portobello option, but we chose tapas instead. Calabaza Coca was delicious! (Not vegan). 3. We had kids.... More

Great food and a nice relaxed but upscale atmosphere. Chef/owner visits every table and really wants guests opinions.

The service was prompt and with a smile. The spinach-cilantro dish was very salty. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. It may be worth giving a try again, but since I don't live in Gainesville I don't know when the opportunity will arise again.

I don't care for the food here, but there is no question they may have the best deserts in town. Fancy pastries supported by a wide variety of other delicious items. Go for coffee and desert. You will enjoy your visit.

Our host was very pleasant, the atmosphere was nice, and the chorizo burrito I had off of the brunch menu was one of the best things I have ever eaten anywhere!

We stopped for late lunch, and ordered one special of filet steak tacos. They were very good, and we should have both ordered that. However, since we had never been there before, we also ordered a chicken burrito with added pineapple. That turned out to be just so-so in flavor. We will try this place again, and it give it... We have been going to Emiliano's for many years. Food and service are wonderful. Downtown Gainesville is alive and thriving and nice to see Emiliano's doing well with all the new choices. Would highly recommend Emiliano's for families, couples or friends wanting to enjoy good food and a warm atmosphere.
