Our server, Kalvin made us feel very welcome from the start. He shared the special with excellent pronunciation of each item (something we could not do!). He really knew his menu! I asked about a light beer and he suggested something and brought me a sample. I did not care for the sample and ordered another beer with no problem.... More

I was visiting Gainesville for business and had a nice dinner with 2 colleagues. We were there to talk, but they had a nice trio playing live music that made it challenging to carry on a conversation. Food and service were good. Two of us had wine with our entrée. Tasty food and a nice place to listen to music... More

I'm a part-time resident of the area and every time I'm down for a few months, I try to have at least one or two meals at Emiliano's. This time my husband (and I took friends from California and they loved it, too). The Spanish stew and empanadas I had were excellent; both were well made and perfectly seasoned. My... More

We have been going to Emiliano's for the past 16 years and it's always good. Had the opportunity to go this week for lunch. Had a wonderful experience. Besides the food being excellent, our server, Kalvin, was fantastic. He was genuine, lots of fun and very attentive to his customers. We started out with the yucca appetizers...........DELISH!! We also had... More

We've just returned from dinner at Emiliano's. I had the paella. It had cool places and warm places, but the dish was not hot, which I felt it should have been. Additionally, their recipe calls for marinated artichokes, which don't work either taste-wise or texture-wise. So, ditch the artichokes and heat the dish so it's uniformly hot and I might... More

My wife and I are in Gainesville for the UF/FSU game and ended up at Emiliano's because the restaurant we wanted to go to said they had no reservations. Thank goodness! Emiliano's was phenomenal! My special 'Pato Romano' was amazing & my wife's dish, 'Mofongo with skirt steak' was, as well. The dishes were totally different. Flavors were 180*. Hard... More

I had the special which was a blackened shrimp topped with Aji cream sauce which was very light. This food was perfect and the bartender was so cool his name was Andy make sure you talk to this guy. There was even a the piece band playing some smokey jazz served on a avocado orzo.

Visited this restaurant with our kids last week. The food and drink were exceptional. Im sorry I forgot our servers name but he was friendly and personable. Daughter and I shared the breakfast burrito & my husband and son enjoyed the shepherds pie. Delish and reasonably priced. We dined outside and took in the Gainesville energy. Definitely returning!
