CS has the best lunch deal I've ever come across, at least when I was in Gainesville in the late '90s. $2.49 bought you a meat or veggie patty, coco bread, a slice of cake (carrot, banana, or pumpkin, I think), and a can of soda. Delicious, filling, and cheap--man, I miss this place! more

I miss my Caribbean Spice! Cheap eats with lots of flavour. Not a huge selection, but it works for me. My bro + sis used to go to UF + would bring me there a lot. Loved it so much we would always try to stop by if we were crossing through G-ville. more

A Gainesville cult favorite. Try the beef & cheese, turkey & cheese or veggie & cheese and coco bread. Best lunch deal in town, whether you're a starving college student or all grown up more
