Yummm!

Stopped here for cocktails on a visit to Gainesville and we were so taken with the atmosphere that we went back an hour later for dinner. Cocktails, tapas and service are all top notch! Nice atmosphere! We loved it. If I'm back in Gainesville, I'll be back at Dragonfly!

This is the go to place in Gainesville for sushi and other Asian specialties. A favorite for birthdays and other occasions that you want to be memorable.

My wife and I are regular visitors to Dragonfly for dinner. Some of the sushi and other food is pretty authentic, and some is very Americanized. We like some of each. If you go early, the service is fast. They don't take reservation, so going at peak times can involve waiting.

Last night, My boyfriend and I decided to put on some fancy duds and hit the town. A nice restaurant was on our list of things to do. I was in the mood for seafood but since moving to Gainesville last May, I'm disappointed in the options that are offered. I know its the south but why does everything have... More

This place was the first restaurant I go to when I was moving to Gainesville. The food is good as well as the atmosphere. If you are looking for a night out with friends to dress up and hang out, that's the place. My favorite salad was the warm shiitake salad.

Always enjoy dining here while in Gainesville and this visit was consistent as always... Trendy place, lively and fresh sushi - what more can you want for? If you are a sushi snob then this is a good place... Close to U of F and relatively close easy parking nearby....

This very trendy spot in Gainesville does not take reservations on Friday and Saturday nights, so our party of 10 settled in for a LONG wait. Unfortunately, when we were finally seated, the server was very inattentive and the food was just awful. The Pork Ramen tasted like old, greasy fish.

The food is very good. I loved both sushi rolls. The spinach and mushroom salad was delicious, but had a little too much dressing. The wait was very long and there isn't much of a waiting area, so we had to wait in our car outside. It's expensive too.

In my opinion the most trendiest place in Gainesville. Food is freshly prepared to your palette. The Dragon Fly Sushi Rolls, Wagyu Beef Skewers, Short ribs, Brussels sprouts, shishido peppers, and vegetable spring rolls made to perfection! Atmosphere is very cool and service was very good. Perfect for a family outing before 8pm...after that the adults come out to play.

the spinach and mushroom salad of this venue. I agree.. Last evening we ordered three sushi plates, the salad and two glasses of house pinot grigio wine. Our efficient and pleasant server Tia was very professional and helpful. Like she told us that it was still Happy Hour and did we want some more wine..Nooo problem. All tasted fine and... More
