My family and I bounce around on Sundays for breakfast. This week it was Sister's turn. We enjoy Sister's style of restaurant. The food is average but the selections are different then most places. We knew what to expect in that category(the hash browns where gummy, no crispness). But on our last visit there was a live duo playing soft... More

I would run out of room in this form before I could say all the good things I experienced at "Sisters"! You simply MUST eat here if you are in Gainesville! Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, omnivore, carnivore, herbivore or other "ore" you will love this place! The wait staff is prompt and friendly and can give you all the... More

Have tried to go to Sisters on a few occasions while in Gainesville. This is the first time we weren't there for UF move-in or for a football game so took our chances and got right in. It was a cold day for FL, but we sat outside in the covered patio with heaters which was delightful. The food was... More

Love, love, love the breakfast here. Eggs are always cooked perfectly to order and the hash browns are something special. I usually don't get breakfast potatoes but I order these every time I go there. Have not tried the french toast, but one of my friends loves it and gets it every time she goes there. Only negative for me... More

her panko crusted eggs and turkey sausage. My "home-made" vegetarian burger was under cooked and led me to say "Feh." A burger patty between two cold slices of toast and a piece of lettuce does not warrant $10. In addition the home made sweet potato fries were stale. I have had better tasting veg. burgers from the frozen foods section... More

Awesome place for breakfast or brunch. First the local is beautiful - like out of a storybook. Second the food is incredibly delicious. The eggs, the pancakes and the french toast are out of this world delicious. The OJ and coffee equally great and the service is tops. Forget about your diet - it's worth the extra time in the... In Haile Town Center, it has a great location. The indoor seating leave a lot to be desired. Sitting outside can be lovely, especially in the evening. Brunch is sooo crowded it detracts from the experience. I have enjoyed the food, it's fresh and well prepared. But I hate the crowding, inside and out.

I'm a bit surprised to read some of the less than favorable reviews for this place. We went there for breakfast and very much enjoyed the ambiance, the service, and the food. I had the basic breakfast of scrambled eggs with turkey sausage patties and potatoes. Everything was very good, with very nice portions. I especially enjoyed the potatoes which... More

Stood ten minutes at the "bar" waiting for a person I could order coffee from. Never happened. Ridiculous, pretentious little place and it isn't worth a minute of my time.

This restaurant is wonderful. The staff is excellent and the food delicious. Very healthy, homemade recipes. Original entrees as well as typical foods. The coffee is outstanding. There were a lot of people there but it moved fairly quickly. A very friendly, comfortable atmosphere. They are not overpriced. And the location is perfect. Parking sucks, but great place.
