I live in town and go here regularly. Great atmosphere and value. A wide range of wines that you can try from a sample to a glass to full bottles. manger is well informed and can assist with selections. All serve appetizers, beer and some high end drinks. Really nice staff and owners. All around a great place to spend... More

The opportunity to sample many different wines to expand your tastes is such a fabulous idea!! I don't know why no one has done this before. After all, who doesn't want to try a few really fine wines but stopped short of buying a bottle because of the price tag? For just a few bucks, you can do just that;... More

Lots of fun. Went with girlfriends and we had lots of wine. Wish there were more chairs! The waitress was really helpful.

I visited Half Cork'd on a recent Saturday evening, and my opinion of it is that it is a wonderful addition to Gainesville. The concept of being able to serve yourself a one, three, or six ounce tasting of wine is great. The atmosphere is very relaxing and conducive to conversation. My only recommendation is perhaps have a greater selection... More

One of my favorite places in Gainesville. The wine selection is great and there are always a few craft beers on tap. The service is consistently solid.

Such a great find and what a cool idea for wine samplings. Before I went I wasn't much for the idea of wine being "dispensed" in my glass, however upon going and experiencing it was great fun with my girlfriends. I would say it's in the category of "boutique wine bar", great for small gatherings and girls night out. Upscale... More

Half cork,'d has a very knowledgeable staff and they are very friendly. They are in a great location. Parking is quite easy & it's a nice place to view downtown Gainesville. They have been included in some events downtown & you can sit down there.

Stopped in at 10pm on a Tuesday night and was pleasantly surprised that the staff didn't want to close down and go home. They have a very nice selection of wines that you can purchase by the taste, 1/2 pour or full pour. You purchase a card with a specific dollar value, and meander around the shop/bar and taste as... My husband and I have season tickets to the Hipp and had walked by Half Cork'd a dozen times before finally deciding to stop in and check it out. We are SO glad we did! I love the self-serve concept, and that there's not a snobby sommelier looking down at you if you make the "wrong" choice. I have tasted... More
