We were visiting friends in Gainesville and decided to revisited Piesano's. Just as good as the first time-----excellent food! Free bread rolls in Italian dressing were delicious. Service was rather slow considering the dining crowd was small in early afternoon. Overall, very nice and will return during the next visit to Florida!

We had lunch at Piesano's. We were a little after 12 noon and had to wait for a seat. The Hostess was very good and was seating everyone as quickly as possible. We ordered off the lunch menu and the food was very good and plenty. The bread rolls and dipping sauces were outstanding. The restaurant has nice and comfortable setting... More

The decor is somewhat upscale and nice. My wife and I got a medium pizza, a different flavor on each side for no extra charge which made for a very reasonably priced meal. The free bread rolls were delicious! My half was Hawaiian which was awesome! My wife's half was more average. Overall I think this its a great pizza... More

My wife, daughter and son-in-law arrived in Gainesville after a mid-week trip to Biloxi and were looking for a quick, quality late dinner. Piesano's was a great choice. The food, service and ambiance were perfect and we each enjoyed the different menu choices we selected. Although we arrived later than we usually have dinner, we were in and out in... More

We visited with our 4 children on a Saturday night while traveling through Gainesville. We were able to call ahead and make reservations. The space is warm and comfortable while still being casual. There is a full bar adjacent to the dining room. The place was very clean. The portion sizes are ample. The stuffed shells are buried in sauce... More

After a long day at Shands, we were ready for very good pizza and cold beer. Piesano's was recommended and we went for a late supper 8:30, late for us. This review is for the Archer Road store. The restaurant is nicely furnished and the service was great. While I can't remember which pizza we ordered, it was great. My... More

I had ordered one of their pies delivered before, but had never made it over to the restaurant. I was a expecting just a little pizza joint, but it actually had a pretty nice atmosphere and the service was good as well. The pizza was above average as was the complementary bread. We also ordered calamari and were not disappointed.... More

The pizza and calzones are always good. The Piesano rolls that are covered in the sauce (maybe Italian dressing?) are amazing. They also make their own ranch dressing and it also is amazing. The calzones are large enough to share. The food is always good, it just seems like the prices keep going up.

Authentic flavor - from olive oil and garlic to warm rolls and bright crisp salads. Lasagna is better than any homemade lasagna I have ever had or made. The portions are huge - you cannot eat a single portion on your own. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Gainesville!

Salad was very fresh with fruit and nuts. Ravioli bites were good but not a lot of flavor. Eggplant parmesan had two layers of eggplant and lots of cheese. Would order again. Seated quickly and service was fast.
