Fantastic!

Really great food, awesome service, pretty restaurant! Great for a special occasion, as it is pricey. I had a filet with grilled vegetables on the side, it was all delicious! Nice, nice place!

It starts from the beginning, the service is impeccable, the ambiance delightful, it's the Creme de la Creme of Gainesville Florida. It is a little more upscale than the other Gainesville restaurants, so I would probably suggest business casual attire. Once you are seated, you are handed a menu, during your selection period, or shortly after, you are offered bread... More

My family's friends took me out here and I fell in love with this place. Yes it is expensive but for what its worth, the food is absolutely amazing!! I also had an amazing waiter. He was very polite, quick on his feet, and very attentive. He was talking about how he was from South Florida and would engage in... More

As our children came to visit us for Easter, we decided to go for brunch at Embers. This happened to be the best idea ever. The food was what one could expect for a well presented buffet but what made it different is that each dish was perfectly prepared. Gainesville is not recognized for great food it is a university... My husband and I had dinner here tonight before a show at the Performing Arts Center with some friends. First of all, the wait staff was extremely slow getting our drinks to us. (AND.. we got here at 5:30!) Then, I really wanted the filet with the lobster croquettes. I searched online and most recipes for these did not have... More

Embers is one of the more up-scale restaurants in Gainesville, Fl. I consider Embers to be among the best. Embers has a Tapas location directly adjacent to Embers called Sparks. We hadn't been there yet, so we went last night for dinner. My wife and I both had drinks, mine was a spicy rum. Very good I might add. She... More

We went here for our 11th wedding anniversary, and once again had a great meal. You have to start with the crab bisque, which is the best I have ever had anywhere! We also had the nut crusted grouper, and our favorite was the filet with lobster croquette. The lobster croquette is to die for, and when combined with the... More

This is the "go to" place when we entertain business visitors. The menu has something for everyone with an emphasis on really fine steaks. I have not had a meal that was less than excellent. They also have a nice reasonable priced wine list.

My wife and I dined with another couple. Some had seafood while others had red meat. All were excellent. The service was courteous and efficient. Best dining experience we've had in Gainesville in a long time.
