Wonderful local hidden gem

Friends who used to live here brought us to this quaint restaurant. The food is wonderful. Best gazpacho ever had. Large dinner salad was yummy with homemade croutons. Crawfish etoufee great. Cheesecake superb. A delightful repast!

had not eaten all day and was absolutely starving so asked my friend to come try this place out with me. Food was okay but service was awful. I had the fried fish meal that came with fries and ate all the fish and a majority of my fries. When the server came back to check on us she had... More

I had eaten here in November 2014 and was so looking forward to bringing my wife for a romantic dinner at this uniquely decorated restaurant. Our meal was good but the whole experience was sub-par because of the waitress. The restaurant was not crowded but we waited a good fifteen minutes from our salad to the main course during which... What a fantastic place! Beautiful, friendly, crowded, and some of the best food we've ever had on a trip! There was a little wait, because everyone wanted to eat there. But the short wait was more than justified. From "soup to nuts" so to speak, everything was out of this world!

Magnolia Grill can be hard to find if you are not familar with the town but definitely worth it! The restaurant is on the road behind the businesses in Ft. Walton Beach. Magnolia Grill is housed in a 1930's(?), Craftsman style home. The decoration of the restaurant is a mixture of white and yellow wood plus a beautiful delection of... More

You'l be impressed with this place. the server and owner are terrific and the food was an experience. The menu is a mix of Italian/ Seafood and American...the portions can;t be described..I had a 8 oz. Filet and there must of been 16 oz. served!! could not believe it!! and was done to perfection.....don't miss this site when you're in... More

Owner seemed very stuck up. Waitress wasn't impressive at all. An older lady. The nicest employee seemed to have wandered out of the kitchen to get a drink. Think she was the dish washer. She helped the clueless server prebuss for our next course. Food tasted very good. Won't be back on account sour feeling from owner and server.

We have been twice, and weren't disappointed either time. This is not a fast food restaurant and not the place to go if you're in a hurry. All selections are prepared as you order them and therefore plan to sit back and enjoy your meal. The wait staff is very helpful and make sure you listen for the daily specials... More

The Magnolia Grill is an excellent restaurant. Service was timely. Food was excellent. Portions were up and beyond imaginable. Everyone is friendly from the minute you walk in the door. has the feel of an early 1950s supper club. Warm and inviting.
