We stopped here on our way out of town. Gumbo was good. Prices are very reasonable. Did not have as many selections as stated in phone book or other adds we saw. Decor is very shabby. You are right on the water with outdoor picnic tables. Overall the food was good. more

When we first started vacationing in FWB several years ago we tried Ricks out. The first year we had the most amazing steaks and shrimp. After that it just went down hill. The food is just okay but it is right on the bay and there is outside seating. It is a pretty nice place to go to and sit... more

We tried this place on three separate occasions, hoping we had merely caught them on a bad day the time(s) before. Unfortunately, we now have concluded our first impression was right.....this is not a good restaurant. If you are merely looking for a cool setting, and nothing else, then this is a place to consider. You may be seated on... more

We took our family to Rick's for a birthday celebration in August. There were 9 in our party including 2 teenagers and 1 toddler. The hostess was very pleasant and seemed to have no problem when we requested a table other than the one that she had taken us to (we wanted to be out of the sun). Our waiter... more

My family (two adults, two teens) visited Rick's on a Sunday night for dinner, arriving about 6:30 pm. The dining room was uncrowded. The whole time we were there it never filled up, nevertheless, service was extremely slow. It took us more than 45 minutes to get our food when the waitress delivered three meals and told the fourth member... more

I have been to Rick's Crab Trap several times over the last 5 years or so. For the most part, the sea food is pretty good. The fries are nothing special. This is the type of restaurant that you go to when you want to get seafood off of the beaten path. The servers there are hit and miss. We... more

There were five of us who made a trip to Rick's crab trap looking for seafood while vacationing in Destin, FL. Rick's is in Ft. Walton but that's just a short crowded drive from Destin so we made the trip, and considering the name and considering my name is also "Rick" how could it fail to be great! (As an... more
