We have been going to Destin FL for many years, but never went to the Old Bay Steamer until this trip. We have really been missing a treat. We ordered 2 appetizers and the small steamer and it was more than enough food for 2 people. We ordered crab claws and scallops and both were outstanding. The steamer bucket was... More

I had a plate of shrimp, snow crab legs, mussels, and oysters with cob corn and potato, great cocktail sauce and drawn butter. The only complaint is that I had to do all the work. The benefit - you can't eat too fast when you have to do it all yourself. A wonderful meal. The interior is a Cajun/New Orleans/jazz... More

It's hard work but the steamer basket was so good. We also tried the triple play and the scallops melted in your mouth. And even though you are not going for the salad dressing, the house dressing tastes great as well.

With a setting Sun and a second cold front briskly taking residence we journeyed for my wife's wish of Old Bay Steamers. She had a hankering for seafood until seeing the BBQ Ribs. Amid the cracking of crab legs we ordered BBQ Ribs. A whole rack of ribs! The house salad is served with a very vegetable complementary dressing. I... More

You would think a place near the ocean that was serving seafood would have a view of the water. Nope, the place is dark and dingy looking inside and out. We ordered the Lil Steamer which was suppose to be for one person but it was big enough for two. The food was fine. But we only got one choice... More

Very nice restaurant, friendly staff, excellent seafood, especially the big steamed platter with crab legs, shrimp, corn, etc. Great experience with the exception that our particular waiter seemed distracted, but all other staff were attentive and helpful.

A Great time was had by all. 3 generations enjoyed the family feast that easily satisfied 4 hungry adults as well as a very busy 3 year old. Our server, Sabrina, was excellent. This is a good way to enjoy delicious seafood in a fun and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend!

Seemed quite popular, but not up to our standards. Dishes not prepared near as well as the Original Crab Shack.

I've lived in Fort Walton Beach since 1979 and I've been to this restaurant twice. Both times, I've experienced the same thing. The service is very good and it's restrooms were clean. But...........If you've ever cooked, steamed, or boiled seafood in your life, then don't waste your time. Because even if you're cooking shrimp for the first time in your... More
