Great lunch stop

Had boiled shrimp, oysters casino and raw oysters. All of it was delicious. Compared to other restaurants, their prices were very reasonable. Our waitress Brandy was great! Definitely a stop to make!

We arrived at our hotel just about dinner time. We were tired and hungry. The desk clerk told us two restaurants were within walking distance. One was posh and pricey. The other was High Tide. We chose the latter. Decor was simple. Food was decent. I selected grouper and my husband had mahi mahi. Both of us enjoyed our meals.... More

The food here was decent but overpriced. The shrimp was large and lightly battered, but they lacked that fresh gulf flavor. The tilapia special was not good.. The crab bites for appetizer were good, but there were only 6 small bites, and they were $9. The only other good thing was the service. The decor is old, which I guess... More

High Tide is a throwback 70's (and older) place. Always go there on vacation. Avoid the Spring Break/Party places. Flashing lights, neon and such scream desperation. None of that here. Just wood and ropes and historic pics. You order 12 raw oysters, half-shell. You will get 14. Fresh and absolutely no sand. The freshest I've ever had. Want to try... More

It's a basic, casual seafood bar/grill. Decent location right on the water and friendly staff. The seafood itself was quite tasty. The oysters were fresh/delicious and the smoked tuna dip was fine. The strength of the meal was soft shell crab sandwich which was particularly delicious and cooked just right.

family visit and we tried the smoked tuna dip. It is the best I have eaten (compared to cafe 331, Stinkeys, Bayou Bills etc. ). The fried oysters were good but I prefer a lighter batter. It's a nice stop for lunch or dinner but the strength here in my opinion is the service and staff, they are some of... More

Oysters are fresh and we all got more than the dozen we ordered. Gumbo is good. Grouper portions are huge. Beer and wine prices are reasonable. We've gone back serveral times.

This is a place where the locals go. Not fancy, but food is delicious. Our server knew her stuff. Lots of fish dishes, but some chicken, too. Limited kids menu.

I will always try the local seafood when I go to a seaside resort. Tried the Trigger Fish at the recommendation of Brita, a friendly and capable bartender, and was very pleased. They also have a happy hour where you can save $1 on a drink.

So today, for my 35th Birthday I decided to try this place because I wanted to get some chargrilled oysters. I ordered the seafood plate #2 that included shrimp, scallops, oysters, catfish and a soft shell crab for $30. The quality was good but definitely not seasoned. Maybe they are used to a certain customer base but I'm from New... More
