What a great find!

This place came highly recommended by a pastry chef we know in Nashville. So, while vacationing, we decided to venture out and give it a try. Wow, we loved it...such a cute place. They have such delicious homemade pastries and desserts, and it's family owned. We also loved the coffee drinks. This... read more

You'll drive by this place 5 times before noticing it, but it's worth seeking out! Fantastic baguette's and croissants and the dessert items are extremely good as well. The place is neat as can be (unusual in FWB) and the staff very helpful and friendly. They supply breads to several restaurants as well, you may have had their product and... More

I have been a fan of Bon Appetit since it first opened. At last our area had true French pastries from top quality ingredients; true European sumptuous and beautifully presented delights. The large variety makes it difficult to choose which pastry to order. I love the Black Forest cake and the eclairs are delicious. I have tried every pastry and... More

Lots of variety under the glass, and it is all good! Good coffee as well and we are a bit snobby about our coffee.

I'm a baker of French pastries and while visiting the area wanted to give this 35 year old location a try. I was blown over by the options, quality, and overall deliciousness. We didn't try the breads but I'm sure they are wonderful. They also serve lunch and grab and go salads. Ou la la - this is a must... More

If you love chocolate. You have to just try this place for their flourless chocolate cake. Just one slice is enough for 2 to share for an amazing treat. Be sure to get some of their freshly brewed espresso to go along with it. Bon Appetit is one of the most underated bakeries in the area. It is family owned.... More

The desserts are definitely more French, the desserts don't taste overly sugary. The lemon tart is amazing, and the tiramasu is the best I've ever had. I'll go out of my way to get an assorted box of sweets for friends. Well worth the visit.

Good food and desserts. This is the place I go for French macaroons. While the service is never warm or friendly by a waitress that has been there for years and years I still go back for the French macaroons. A change in wait staff would make this restaurant top notch. This restaurant has been around for more years than... More

We are visiting the panhandle for a week and found this gem of a bakery/restaurant. Deli sandwiches outstanding, piled high with fresh meats and cheeses. Middle Eastern plate has most delicious hummus I have ever eaten, fresh tabbouleh, olives and pickles, stuffed grape leaves, tomatoes and feta. They let me exchange the potato salad for their marinated cabbage--delish! French bread... More

I have been stopping in to this bakery/restaurant for the last 15 years. I go every time I am in Destin or within about a 45 minute drive. The breads and pastries are fantastic. We always take home loaves of bread to freeze and eat later. The pastries are decadent. I don't know the names of the different desserts, but... More
