Nice cozy beachfront restaurant

My wife and I visited this restaurant on Friday October 30, 2015 for dinner. We had gone to Flemings but became frustrated because no one came to our table after 15 minutes to say hi or take our drink order. But going here we were not disappointed. We arrived around 8:30pm and was immediately... read more

I wish Trip Advisor had a 1-10 rating system. It would be much more versatile and one would be able to "nitpick" more efficiently. Just so everyone knows, I use a1.0 through 5.0 system in the written portion of the review with the majority of them grouped between, I think, 3.25 and 3.5...Lake Woebegone all over. To The Black Pearl:... More

This place..there is one word to describe it and that word is atrocity, the saying goes "first impressions are everything" and in this case, it is absolutely the truth, I went with my mother for the first time and i had ordered the bbq quail stuffed with cranberry stuffing and my mother got the fried platter, first of all i... Good food and consistent service. If you want a great view of the gulf and have a special dinner at a reasonable price the Pearl is it. They have a really nice sunset special menu that you pick from a number entrees that is under 20 bucks .

Tripped over this "gem" of a restaurant and what a find. Try the grouper cheeks you will not be disappointed. The richness of the French onion soup is amazing. Talked to the Chef and got a few pointers for my next pot!

I had salmon that was too dry. My husband had crabcakes that were very good. The ceviche is also wanting for something. Not sure what. I think more lime juice and something spicy.

After visiting several "top rated" (read: tourist trap) restaurants, we stumbled upon The Black Pearl. The ceviche...the seafood...even the chicken piccata was phenomenal. The decor is charming, the ambiance peaceful. Don't miss this gem when you're in the area!

My high school classmate and I visited this establishment on Tuesday 11/3 and we're greeted by the chef who explained his menu to us in detail. The food was superb, fresh wasabe crusted tuna, crab and shrimp stuffed grouper. He even presented us with a complimentary civichi appetizer and desert! I would definitely return on my next visit!#☺☺☺

We found this place online and decided to check it out. Usually stay away from the "boardwalk scene" but this place was worth the chance we took. Sat outside and watched the waves, service was excellent and food was out of this world. Menu has much to offer from beef to seafood and fire grilled rather than the typical deep... More
