We had a large group and everything was great!! Along with a beautiful view, we enjoyed the wonderful sunset specials! We topped it off with banana & cashew bread pudding plus a creme brûlée. Always a treat!!

The food quality was poor, prices high and we had hair stuck on the table and one of our forks! With entrees priced at $30 this is a place to avoid. Go into Destin and eat at Jackacudas it is out of this world.

Kind of reminded me of red lobster food. Pretty good nonetheless. My waiter Travis was super friendly. I had the miracle platter which has a thin fillet of mahi mahi, some small scallops, a crab cake, and a few grilled shrimp. I think the shrimp were my favorite.

This is a super place to visit, right on the beach, cozy and a little romantic. Service was fine (after having to ask to sit at the open window table - the reason for down grading to four stars) and the food was very good. Once seated we never felt rushed even though there was a steady stream of customers... More

We have tried to eat at the Black Pearl on other trips to the Florida panhandle but never wanted to wait for a table, it was always quite busy. We finally made reservations for our last night of this current trip. We weren't disappointed. Excellent food. Excellent service. Prices very reasonable for a nice restaurant with an ocean view. We've been to The Black Pearl several times and love it every time--the atmosphere is unique, the servers are friendly, and the seafood is delicious. We've tried several different entrees and have never been disappointed.

I got 1/2 dozen oysters for $8 - from Virginia and they were delicious! For an entrée I got the medallions (pretty good) and the scallops which were prepared with a really nice flavor. You get a loaf of warm bread with an olive oil blend that is really nice as well. I took my 2nd medallion for breakfast leftovers.... More

This place is right on the beach and has a gorgeous view of the water and excellent for sunset dining. This is one of the few places in this beach town that actually has really quality seafood and other unique menu items. It's not just "another fried frozen fish" place. They seem to legitimately put some thought into their dishes.... More

A bit pricey, but food is good and had good service. All tables are by the window with a beautiful view of the ocean. We would go again.
